Who's drinking tonight???

Postby G.I.Jim » Sun Sep 18, 2011 10:11 am

Let's play a game, shall we? :D  You'd think that my double vision would correct itself when I get my buzz on, but sadly it doesn't. :?

Dang, man - are you still having problems? Is it better than before at least?

You're #8 looks like #88 which is our National Guard car's number. Cool! It is slowly getting better, so I'm no longer stressing over it. Some days are better than others, and today is just a bad eye day. I've had blurry/double vision ever since I woke up today. It's frustrating, but it is getting better slowly.

I started out with some cheap nasty leftover red table wine, and I'm now drinking cheap nasty white wine. Don't recall the brand name, but it sucks. It does the job though. :D

I've drank my share of cheap crap myself. Back at PSU all me and my buddies drank was Vladimir vodka, Colt 45 and Hurricane. Back then it was quantity over quality so we bought as much of the cheap shit as we could. Once is a while we would splurge on some Seagram's 7 or Captain Morgan.

Holy shit man... that's some nasty stuff you just listed there! I'm not talking about drinking some Mad Dog or anything like that. Just not my usual decent wines.  It's all good though. I used to drink shit like that back in the day, but have become pretty picky over the years. Whatever works for ya! :D

I tried drinking that crap not too long ago and could barely swallow it. It's amazing how much your tastes change in 6 years. Now I prefer craft beer, Patron and stuff like that.

I'm not too much of a beer fan, and mostly stick with wines. About the only beer I drink anymore is Bud Light, Corona and Heinekin.

How to get drunk on less than $5.
A store near me sells Steele Reserve 24oz cans for $1.19 each. I tried a can once....it tasted like ass, but I got an immediate buzz.
I thought Natural Ice was bad....this one tops it, but if you can stand the taste, it's a cheap buzz, thanks to it's 8.1% Alc by vol.

The worst hangover I've ever had was after a night of pounding 40oz Hurricanes. I could barely get out of bed the next day to go to class, that was the last time I went to class hungover.

When I lived in Oregon, there used to be this generic brand of beer and no shit... it came in a white can with black letters that said "BEER".  The shit back then was like $5.00 for a case. It was unbelievably nasty, but sold like crazy!   I'll stick to my good shit.

You too? Dan and I woke up the next day after the concert fighting our sinuses. I wonder if it was something in the air that night, besides your homeless encounters.

Having a few friends over for a night around a bonfire in the back garden - few guitars, some singing, toasting marshmallows and no doubt a bevy or five. Should be a good night.

I love not having to get up early Mondays 8)
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!
