I've been out of the States for awhile, but didn't the Salahis get known from crashing an Obama ball at the White House? If so, could this be a plot by the adminstration to distract voters from the economy??

Seriously though, I hate this story. One of the reasons Journey was so 'unkewl' back in the day is because they were so boring! What did you ever hear about them other than they sold out shows? Now Neal wants to be like what's his name in Poison or whatever.

I don't think any less (or more) of any of them... It's like watching Nascar wrecks... you hope no drivers get hurt, but you still watch the wrecks... except in this case the "wrecks" aren't just cars... they're peoples LIVES... and can be avoided with a little THOUGHT on the part of the participants...

Its also one thing if the behavior is largely hidden... but if its not (as it is in this case) and I was in the band, and had kids old enough to understand and question me regarding Neals' behavior, and why i was involved with someone with that kind of moral character... I'd have a decision (or excuse) to make...

LOL, well u can't really walk away from a tour in mid stream, which I guess is why I was wondering if anyone thought the added stress from this pegged on the already stressful world tour is in any way really putting the other members in harms way.

Most of the band are not virgins to controversy. If anyone is feeling it, it is probably Arnel, his family and his entourage. This could help account for his dismal shows this past week.
I don't think most of what is going on was a calculated risk for him when he joined this band. He probably banked on Neal being more mature than that.

Neal could be manic. When people are in their manic state they make decisions that make absolutely no sense to anyone but themselves. I'm not a
Psychiatrist, but maybe these relationships Neal gets into are as a result of his manic episodes, then when he crashes (goes into the depressed component),
the relationships end. Rose colored glasses and pink clouds, then all dark and gloomy until the next cycle occurs.

The worst admission of complicity was when Neal spoke. He should have just kept his fucking mouth shut.

I sorta disagree with this. Neal has kept quiet about this whole fiasco brought about by his latest love. The 2 talked to a chick who wrote a book about Michaela. I don't think you would call this feeding the beast!!
