All the "good stuff" Journey has accomplished pales, in comparison, when you put it all in perspective, at least in the world we live in. The stages belong to all the Emo groups, Gaga and Bieber and those groups who still have their singers from their heyday. We are the reality TV society. We have no class, no valor, manners or appreciation for history. I'll leave the American values demise lecture for another thread.

I fear this will not end well. Sounds like she has never been in control of her own destiny and with MS looming over her head this saga has all the earmarks of becoming a tragedy. :(

Since Don Henley gave up his previous life style when he married his angel maybe Neal can take some tips from him

Since Journey has become a world band, it will not be just an American tragedy. (Ok, bad joke, CJ)

True. But nutcase Taraq will be there with open arms and they will milk the story for moolah anywhere they can.

When the shit hits the fan, just tell Arnel to only audition for European or Canadian bands. The taxes are just too damn high here and the women are too cheap!

We should be. This what Neal has wanted for a long time, to be the big man in the spot light. Look at him, he can't help himself from continuing to feed the beast. He wants an audience and we are obliging him. The only one left out a bit is Cain, he has to be wondering WTF?

I don't see this simply fading away as much as the floor dropping out though. There are a lot of bad things that might come out of this in the end.

I sorta disagree with this. Neal has kept quiet about this whole fiasco brought about by his latest love. The 2 talked to a chick who wrote a book about Michaela. I don't think you would call this feeding the beast!!

So the part about him bringing her onstage in Tampa, draping his guitar over her and saying to the audience "see she's not kidnapped" doesn't count towards this beast being fed? :?

   I was at the Tampa show and Neal gave the PRS to a blond teenaged girl who was a guitar fan in the audience. There are pictures. People are nutzzz!! Someone glimpsed a blond watching the show from the side of the stage and that's about it!!!

Where in the hell did you get this garbage info??

I'd like to see the pics, because that's been the coolest part of the tour imho.

Here for starters:

http://forums.melodicrock.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=4610739#4610739

It has also been posted several times, in the comments section at the websites of legitimate news as well as tabloid outlets, by those that were also there.

Lastly, I received an email today from someone that saw it, but wanted to know if I knew of anyone that had video of it.

So, I guess all of those people must be nutzzzz! Or maybe you were on a pee run when it happened?

Also, Neal stopping to sign autographs for fans with her by his side after the story broke, that must not count either.

Okay, we are all wrong. You're right. Neal is a saint that is in love with the woman of his dreams and we are all tainting the beauty of it with this garbage info.

Hey, we're all gonna be living in the garbage can here for awhile. Get used to it. Journey will also accumulate more fans. Get used to that too. Right or wrong, controversy sells and has been one of the greatest marketing tools since our formation. Get used to it.

 Heard about it on evening news. Funny, how celebrity gossip has evolved into "entertainment news" transcending into mainstream news stories. Equally funny...when the news anchorperson lead in with..."WH party crasher and Housewife of DC Michaela Shalia run off with Journey guitarist Neal Schon"...they show SP singing DSB (taken from the Houston Live dvd)

I briefly looked through all that, but have yet to see a video. The only thing I saw was a photo shopped picture of Micheala hiding out behind the sound board equipment on the side of the stage. I'm certainly not saying they're not together, but I must have missed something according to you! She's there no question about that!

If you think this is gonna get Journey more fans, you are vastly mistaken. Read all the comments from all the articles around the web. At first the douchebag couple was taking the brunt of it but after the Ava interview, Not only Neal but the band itself has been taking a beating. If they can get some more of Neal's exes talking, it's going to leave a small but nasty stain on this era for sure. It's already being added to Schon's wiki page as official Journey lore.

If there was an upside here, the plokkers would be spinning it but as we know, they've pretty much closed their eyes and covered their ears this week, hoping it will all go away.

Dude, get your facts straight. DSB is the most downloaded song from the 20th century, NOT the number one single from the 20th Century. It's not even in the top 50. The song has what, 4.5 million purchases? Bryan Adams has a song with 10 million sales, Elton's Candle in the wind has 33 million, the list goes on and on. Even Donny Osmond's Puppy Love has more sales than Don't Stop Believin'.
You are judged by the company you keep and right now, Journey is rolling around with gutter snipes.

No... Neal and Mrs Salahi will be on the forefront... the Journey connection will merely be an association... making Neal INFAMOUS instead of, and in spite of his Journey connection... and thus the name "Journey" could wind up being forever associated with this series of escapades INSTEAD of these escapades being merely a footnote in Journey's history...

In a nutshell its now not "about the music"... its about this clusterfuck of a story...

I'll say one more thing before bed. That site became the bastard stepchild when a bunch of whiners objected to his current site. People became divided and those in their comfort zone didn't want to move and embrace the new site. I'm sure, in time, the lease expired and just as in life, things become, "get on board or get left behind". I don't really blame him, if the plug got pulled. It was time.

Does anyone believe that after 5 marriages, this woman is truly his soulmate? More important, do you think Neal and/or MS believe it?

Why are the singer stalkers so pathologically obsessed with Neal Schon's love life? THIS story broke mainstream, yes, but for years they have bathed in shadenfreude by digging dirt and posting rumors about his relationships.

Dude, get a grip of yourself. It isn't just the "singer stalkers" talking about this, it's everybody. This is EXACTLY what Neal has been wanting. If that wasn't so, he wouldn't have brought that woman up on stage with him or had her by his side while signing autographs.

Adele is excellent! Clearly the best female artist I have listened to in some time.
.
Her latest album 21 is truly amazing. It is estimated to hit 13 million by the end of the year. She will win many awards at the Grammy's. So far my favorite album of the year. And she's an excellent songwriter.

Dude, get a grip of yourself. It isn't just the "singer stalkers" talking about this, it's everybody. This is EXACTLY what Neal has been wanting. If that wasn't so, he wouldn't have brought that woman up on stage with him or had her by his side while signing autographs.

I said I'm not talking about this incident jackhole.

I get a kick out of how you people sweat blood over every time Neal allegedly or factually enters a relationship with a member of the opposite sex.

Nice job with the personal attack.

And "you people"? Really? I haven't said one word about Neal Schon's past relationships. I couldn't tell you how many times he's been married or how many children he has, as I couldn't tell you anything about Jon Cain's personal life, Steve Perry's (other than what he has made public) and I really don't care. But, since this topic is of public interest - since Neal Schon is making it public knowledge, then it looks to me like EVERYONE is talking about it. And, considering that this COULD affect the band and its record sales one way or another, then it deserves to be discussed. I swear, some of you all here seem to want to bury your heads in the sand when it comes to these guys, because you worship them like gods. Let's not talk about anything, because they deserve respect for just being rockstars. I'm not in to such hero worship. These people are human beings, and it isn't like any of us have to "dig up" this stuff from some private file. These guys are putting this stuff in the media for a reason.

As opposed to you , who gets a kick out if anytime he enters a relationshop with a member of the same sex .  Dream come true for you as you enjoy both gay porn and midget porn!

Why do you get your panties in a wad. This place is known for entertainment when it involved people's personal life, specially if they have/had any connection to Journey. Just take it for what it is and enjoy.
Even Steveo isnt as protective of his (ex)boyfriend ;)

As whacked a post as I've seen B.

Anyway I THINK I figured out part of the rationale behind the signer stalker obsession with Neal's relationships with the opposite sex.

It's vicarious.

Gotta do with their own proclivities to interact that way only with members of the SAME sex or appliances.
