Dean, the judge threw out ALL of the DNA evidence and the appeals jury was instructed to negate it from their deliberations. This left the prosecution with a glaring problem ... no evidence! The room where the murder and rape was committed was something out of a horror flick, with only Rudy Guede's DNA there ... everywhere, including on and inside the victim, Meredith Kercher. There was also a bloody handprint of his on the wall. Ironically, for 2 drunk and high "thrill killers," Amanda and Raffaelle left no hair, saliva, blood, fingerprints or footprints anywhere in the room where a violent struggle and massacre occured. The sick thing is they believed Rudy Guede and he had his sentence reduced to a mere 16 years. He'll be out in a about a decade.

I know all of this, but....let us ask the simplest of questions- How could Amanda and Raffaelle be indicted and convicted, alongside that Guede douche? Are these greasy chain wearing, body odor, nasty breathed, Camaro driving fuckheads this Goddamned dumb? So they lock up Guede, rightfully so, and still go after Knox and Bespectacled? Why not round up the entire neighbourhood? Just arrest a dozen or so and maybe one will be guilty?

I also find it remarkable Amanda taught herself Italian law while incarcerated. Fuck no she didn't do this.

I was speaking of those combed over Woppers, you know, the guys who dip there plastic lettuce feelers into 10W-40 before heading out for a night of Saturday Night Fever here in the States. And don't laugh either. You know they are rolling down the main drag in Rochester, NY, blasting Stayin' Alive out of the convertable 1984 Z28. And if not some Bee Gee tune, it's probably some hair metal crap like Poison or Warrant.

They are pissed that a Yankee got over on 'em, and the prosecutors are going to bump on over to Rome this week, and petition for an appeal to the highest court.. What horseshit. So are they trying to say, that there were 3 involved? Guede(who just looks the criminal), Amanda and Solleshito? Trust me, they are angling to get Amanda back over there somehow, someway.

Thanks muchly! I started watching the program half way through when they were more discussing adapting back to real life, so I'm pretty sure they had already discussed this Alford plea thing.

I'd heard Jason Baldwin did NOT want the guilty plea as part of the deal, but went along to help out Damien Echols, who had apparently really had Jason's back during the trial and had come extremely close to being executed a few times. Glad they are all out now.

I'm not sure what I'm more shocked by, the fact he was giving propofol outside of a hospital setting and for SLEEP no less....or the fact that when he attempted CPR he left the victim on the bed instead of moving him to the floor (a hard surface). Everyone that's ever taken a CPR class knows that the first rule of CPR-move them to a hard surface otherwise the compressions will do no good. This guy is a disgrace to the medical profession-on SO many levels!
