Postby artist4perry » Fri Oct 14, 2011 9:52 am

Send PM, or add photo here, this weekend I plan to do some more. If you missed the first round, or would like just to have a new one done.

1. Send photo, no tiny pictures please, I don't want to start squinting like GI Jim
2. Give me info, hobbies, sports, things to put around your floating jug of a head so you look funny
3. No nudes............GI this means you!
4. I am not responsible for any likeness that isn't perfect, I am new at this after all, just laugh with the rest of us
5. Please start sending photos asap, I have more time Fri. night, Sat, and Sunday.

Latest drawing, Titled: Winter's Attraction

Not the best photo but I will do a better one later. I like the owls under the mistletoe the best.

Your drawings are just incredible. Debbie just stood here in amazement looking at that one.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Tell Debbie, thank you. This one came fast and furious, I just could not stop working on it and it took me about 3 weeks. I was inspired a bit. The photo is too dark, and the white is not that stark, but it is one of my favorite so far. I love the owls faces under the mistletoe, and my husband made a crack about the horny toad in front of the old man's trousers..........never thought of it that way! LOL     Never know what your veiwer will catch. Actually the bottom is cut off a bit, the frog is on a rock, and a small turtle is not showing that is at the bottom.

What a lot of people don't realize, is that none of the images in my work is together. I borrowed the face from an old woman, the face of an old man, their bodies are made up. The big rabbit and the baby rabbits are from separate images, the flying squirrel on the tree separate.

The trees did not exist except in my head. The mistletoe also from a separate photo, and the frog. I peace meal and Frankenstein the whole thing. The owls are different than their original image.

I change leg positions, spots, and positions of animals. I don't want to copy any photo I see outright. I use several photos to see how animals look to get the look I want. But it is like putting a fun puzzle together. The ending surprises me all the time!

I am glad. I have not done this in a while. Anyone else can send a photo and I will get to them as I can.

I also need a photo of Andrew if someone would find one and upload it for me.

You're very talented. I never quite got artistic people. How some people have these amazing abilities to draw shit from what they're looking at while I can draw a stick person always baffled me.

I think it just is what your interested in doing. Some people can sit down with an instrument and play like there is no tomorrow, while I struggle to make notes worse than Ace falling off of a stage.  Go figure. Thanks though. I think in the department of caricatures I have a great deal to learn. Thanks for those so kind as to volunteer to be guinea pigs for me! :D

How about one of my boy, showing off his NASCAR obsession (much to his daddy's chagrin)! Hopefully, we can edit out the flowers that he picked for his mommy  I'm not sure how the magic of art works, but I guess that it all starts with a picture, so here goes.

I went out with my husband tonight and got in late, I will try and do one of your son tomorrow. Who is his favorite Nascar driver? I never got into that sport myself, I get tired of the left turns.

Flowers will be edited. He is a handsome child Jon! :D

You can copy and print it off if you want too. I am glad he liked it. I was not sure what car to put there, but my husband Dan said Gordon was one of the most popular. I am sure he knew who he is. Anytime Jon! :D

If you need a larger pic. I can send you one via e-mail.

He definitely knows who Jeff Gordon is. If you could send a larger picture to my email, that would be great. It's Enigma869@aol.com. Thank you again.
