Bullshit. Whenever I feel that I might have genuinely offended someone with my words, they usually get a PM with an apology and/or a clarification as to my words. I can give you the names of people who have received them and copies of the messages if you don't believe me. Though I'm not sure why you wouldn't believe me, since you are, in fact, one of those people.

This is a message board. Dedicated to a
band. Anyone who belongs in the age demographic of
this place and gets 'passionate' enough about a fucking band that they form
actual grudges with people online is in need of a therapist, period.
This is Journey, not the Catholic Church or Republican Party. Steve Perry is neither Messiah nor Anti-Christ, and it's absolutely insane when a calm discussion about Journey and all it entails turns into a free-for-all slugfest generated by people
actually starting to intensely dislike one another because of how they feel about this band.
scary stuff.

Well you've found something I'm genuinely offended by.
Rheumatoid arthritis has a presence in my family, and while the odds are on my side {it's much more common in women than men}, you might get your wish.
{Anything is possible, after all.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to escalate the banter from lighthearted jabs to something this severe, so let's just ignore each other from here on out.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'
