This is a YouTube link to a rock band from Revelstoke, BC called 'Caldera'- they are a group of high school kids and pretty good! It sounds like rock is making a comeback:

Seriously, rock made a "comeback" when grunge reclaimed the landscape from the pop and hip-hop dreck that was souring everything throughout the '80s. Yeah, I'm not one to speak up for grunge, but that's what happened.
I'm a fan of the '70s fusion band Caldera, so who are these canucks using their name?

They're a group of teenagers, so they probably haven't heard of the 70s fusion band - I hadn't either and I'm a lot older! I had to Google them and since they weren't around long, their albums didn't sell, and they broke up over 30 years ago, I don't think the name will confuse anyone.

If all you listen to is what's discussed in this forum, then I understand why you would make such a conclusive statement, however ignorant it may be.
