I bring nothing...Not here to make friends. If I do, great...not a priority. Every one of us brings a unique perspective into topics here. What I've found is people really don't respect each other here...most people are fake.

I would never question a point of view of a nurse, lawyer, doctor, engineer....etc. Because I'm not schooled in any of those disciplines. Therefore, I think the same consideration should be reciprocated...

I think people who are passionate about things do not fare well on forums.

And all forums are the same...you end up with stereotypical characters: the comic, the cynic, the alcoholic, the victim, the goodie 2 shoes....it IS a game

So..........you bring Crap! LOL Disagree with ya goofball. Your being on here is a game. It isn't for me. I am truly talking to folks like I would talk to them if I met them, ask Rip or Dan. If you want to play act it is your affair.

I think a passionate person has every right to be on a forum if they want to, why not? Because someone needs to play cyber bully to be a big man? That kind of childishness is for teenagers. Seriously stupid and boring behavior at best. The only person impressed with a bully is another bully or one of those gigglers who go along with one because they "look up to them". Usually weak minded people at that.

Oh, you mean all those people that clamor for Deano to come back because it's so boring when he isn't here insulting people? Sorry, Dean...just an example. I'm not looking to be the target of insults.

I don't agree with anyone being mean to be mean. And that would include Deano. I love Deano to death, but if he is kidding it is no problem. I don't agree with those who clamor for him to hurt people, no.

Look why is that entertaining to you? Seriously unless the person is mean to others and has it coming why is it what anyone wants to read? I guess if that is what gets their rocks off that is their business.

Your a pot stirrer you overgrown knucklehead.

Putting your pot stirring stick to work in this thread maybe just a tad?

Maybe I should ask Deano to insult you since you like that kind of thing. A masochistic thing but baby whatever gets your rocks off right?

I miss Deano because he can be funny. His stories are great.

Just want to add something here, I am not saying you cannot disagree. We are all passionate about our bands, music, and some topics. We are going to disagree, argue, etc.

It all depends on the tone of the forum. Some of us were out of hand at times in 2005-2008. It was FUN. Then the owner gives you a vacation. Get invited back a few years later after serving a sentence (thank you), paying your debt and conform to what things are now and contribute.

Still an asshole elsewhere at times. No one's posts online give you a complete picture. "Blueskies" thought she knew many of us just based on our posts here and meeting us once in Florida.

Most people I've met in person from here have been great - I do have to say that!

I have no idea what I bring to ths forum. This is simply a place I hang out from time to time when I'm bored...and those times seem to be fewer and farther between these days. I have made some good friends here and I'm happy with that but the friends I see, talk to and associate with every day are a higher priority. I don't aim to impress anyone here...I am what I am.

The vibe I always got from this place is that even though it's harsh and can be a bit obnoxious in the heat of debate, it's a friendly community. People take the time out of their entire life schedule and spend money out of their own pocket to travel and meet the same people in these very forums and even exchange cell numbers. Melodicrock brought out the best parties and the best times I've ever had because not only was it DIFFERENT than what I am certainly use to with everyday life, but it brought great friendship because we all share a common bond and that is MR.

Even you S2M, don't give me that shit (statements like 'I'm not here to make friends' just pad your online ego and character. Nothing else, nothing more.) You traveled to MR Fest for a reason. You came to Pittsburgh for a reason and that was to meet up with people and be adventurous with the same people you talk to on Melodicrock on a daily basis. This isn't some kind of weird message board where nobody is seen and hides behind an avatar and anything goes. We all pretty much know each other and it's been the same people over the years that post that's not a abrupt overload of traffic with random characters daily.

I had a great time with you S2M. On the forums, you're nothing but a shit stirrer. You stick your nose in here and you even got GINGER rowed up by posting 3 simple times in this very thread  You and people like John are natural born provokers. You manipulate words and arguments but that's your style on here but don't act like you're here to not make friends because judging by your actions, that's fib #1. After saying all of that, I come here because I know there's potential of future friendships and future get-together's that ties us all together. That is VERY rare. I'm a huge forum guy. I love posting my thoughts on the things I'm passionate about and I can do it all day. Here, it's like talking to friends I actually know. Big difference than anything I've ever SEEN when it came to online forums.

Interesting posts, and I have to say not too many real surprises in the mix. I was not really expecting anyone to respond as I said. Youngjrny I am quite aware of S2M's games, and yes, I probably should realize what he is doing and just ignore him. I really have no true beef with anyone here, I have met some great folks, and had fun hanging with them. Now as for anything else, my comments are what they are, as I am sure yours are what they are.
I am not out to reform anyone here, couldn't truly if I tried. I am just curious about what makes a person different behind the guise of a keyboard vs when you would meet them in person?

If you are here to make friends great. I did not intend to do that when I started, I just came here to read a post, but it just happened along the way. It has been a great thing. Someone said everyone brings something to a forum, and I am sure there is no truer statement made.

I would not mind sitting down and having dinner or a cup of coffee with most of you.

So who has game? I guess we all do in our own way. But I truly enjoy reading, laughing, and arguing with the lot of you. S2M, Parfait, and Stevo, included. :D
