There will be no Journey reunion, according to ex-frontman Steve Perry. Wow, thanks, Steve-O. You ruined my life. Journey is one of my fave bands.

In a chat with The Associated Press, Perry spoke about the fractured interpersonal and collective dynamic, saying, "It's like any emotional, committed relationship. At some point, they seem to all have a shelf life and bands are no exception."

Perry also admitted, "Life has moved us all on in different places in our lives." He also threw props to Jeff Scott Soto, one of the three singers that followed him as the frontman of Journey. Perry said, "They should have stuck with him and continued to write music, but that might have required that they let him in emotionally a little more." Okay, so the other members of Journey are emotionally unavailable! That felt like a dig.

Grrr. This isn't making me feel better, Steve. Someone throw a ton of money at the band for a reunion tour! That should do the trick, no? A Band-Aid on that fractured relationship, right?
Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com
