That is call hearsay or more like yousay!

That definitely wasn't one of Dan's more sensible remarks.

No it was not !

Save your speech. Unless you can prove that Froy, factually, violated the terms of some sworn AA meeting that he agreed to keep anonymous, you need to button the fuck up. Let's see the proof.

Button the fuck up?

See ya.

Deano is allowed to light up Augeri whenever he wants at least to the same degree Dan lights up Perry, but he's not banned. And don't say it was because Dan said "button the fuck up" to Lora.

Get serious. Dan's post was offensive and confrontational - as usual. No one tells someone of Lora's stature to 'button the fuck up' on my forum. End of story.

Possibly we need a list of the untouchable/uninsultable posters here. :? As the gap between the insultable and uninsultable seems to be widening. And possibly a checklist of what elevates one's stature on this board even though it is fairly clear in Lora's case.

I will say that Dan has said far worse to me and never got a vacation....but I do understand that Lora is someone that Andrew would consider a VIP.

I will also say that since we called a truce Dan has been much better and I do miss seeing his posts.

To clarify. I am not a V.I.P. I have never asked, nor do I want, to be treated any differently than anyone else here. Andrew's choice of words - someone of my "stature" - was unfortunate as it gives the impression that he is catering to a select group of people, which I do not believe is the case. This forum may just be a place to play childish games to some but it is Andrew's website and livelihood and this forum reflects on him. I'm sure he is doing the best he can to make this a place people enjoy hanging out.

You and Cyndy have helped Andrew immeasurably. I'm sure that's why he said that. I would venture to say the SP interview may not have been possible without your help. I'm sure his comment of stature, which I agree with, was out of respect and admiration for all that you do.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I think it is just because Lora is a classy lady period. I understand Lora that you don't want that kind of treatment. But the shear fact that you don't seek that kind of stature from your peers makes you a class act all around. You don't act like you are better than anyone. Most anyone who has had to have your help or has known you personally would find you to be a nice person. I realize your a regular person, and you want to be treated as such, and that is what people respect about you. :D

Lora you may have never asked but for me and many others you are a VIP.....you would never have to ask..it's known
and expected.

I love the fact that you are here and posting...it gives the board a lot of credibility.....and you and Cyndy seem to be
two girls that would be great gals to call friends.

Sometimes certain posters don't know when to say when....and that's Andrews call and I respect it.

Ok, let me rephrase. You are a friend and I respect all that you do. And I don't like my friends being told to Button The Fuck Up, from someone with a boring adgenda of constant Perry bashing.

It is none of our business whether or not Steve is in AA or or not in AA. It's a private and personal thing for Steve and or anyone else. To make assumptions is just not being respectful to Steve.

I have to blow the whistle on that one. We've never had issues with calling Neal a drunk, or Deen a chipmunk junkie or Ross a snow vacuum. Fair is fair.

We shouldn't make assumptions on any of the band members.

except Neal publicly admitted he had a drinking problem, Ross addiction is also public info... dunno about Deen's monkey issue...

I've never heard Perry state anything about AA.... nor have any other band members given that any credence...

Agreed.

It's very unfortunate that not everyone on here is treated with equal respect. Certain musicians are allowed to be bashed endlessly, while others are not supposed to be bashed at all. Certain forum members are treated like kings or queens, and others are treated as if they don't matter at all.

Some consistency would be nice.

Most rock stars have issues in their careers. It comes with the job, but SP is less than forthcoming and I give kudos to the rest of them that have actually admitted they had problems. It doesn't make any of them lesser persons, but it also sheds light on the fact that SP is more of a private person. That said, I think people need to let up on him. He doesn't wanna wear his life on his sleeve for the world to see. Respect that.
