Greer H.S. Linebacker No Longer Considers Playing For Penn State
POSTED: 4:10 pm EST November 10, 2011
GREER, S.C. -- The Penn State fallout is having a trickle-down effect on high school football recruiting.
Adam Ah Ching, a senior linebacker at Greer High School, told WYFF News 4’s Kim Quintero that he’s played football since he was 6 and has his sights set on playing college ball.
http://espn.go.com/college-sports/footb ... m-ah-ching“When you're Polynesian, growing up, football is No. 1 in your life,” said Ah Ching.
Ranked last year by ESPNU as the 26th linebacker prospect in the country, Ah Ching said he was paid a visit by Penn State's former assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky.
“He came to my last spring game going into my senior season. He liked how I moved, laterally, and how gifted I am,” said Ah Ching.
But days after Sandusky was charged with sexually abusing young boys, leading to the firing of football coach Joe Paterno and university President Graham Spanier, Ah Ching scratched Penn State off his list of where he'd continue his football career.

Ok, I thought we were told the sick fuck was retired and had nothing to do with Paterno or the program any longer...WTF..on a recruiting trip last season...I'm sorry gang but Paterno is not passing the smell test here. He would have known about this.

Sandusky, who last week was charged with 40 counts of sexual abuse against minors, lives next to Lemont Elementary School.
The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. last night, according to the NBC Philadelphia report. Police do not have any suspects.

I hope that announcer is fired. No room for that kind of shit. Let the comedians handle the jokes.

This is the seventh draft of this column.
The first six drafts were riddled with too many words that would have gotten me permanently banned from writing any more columns, so I had to try to tone things down.
Want to guess what I’m writing about? I’ll give you three letters: PSU, Pedophile State University. Awesome article and my sentiments exactly! ALL should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oops. I mean Penn State University and the sex scandal surrounding the football team.
To say this situation has upset me is a gross understatement.
I tried to write about the sex scandal as calmly as possible, but I couldn’t. To keep from using profane language, I’m using numbers to replace the real words I want to say. I just thought I’d let you know, so you wouldn’t be confused while reading this column.
You, however, can insert your own expletives in place of the numbers if you desire.
Joe Paterno once said, “The minute you think you’ve got it made, disaster is just around the corner.”
I’m sure at the time that he had no idea how prophetic those words would be. But his “disaster” was self-induced.
Once Paterno was made aware of Jerry Sandusky’s alleged acts, he alerted the higher ups at the university. But what Paterno should have done is called 9-1-1 after beating the 107 out of Sandusky.
Did Paterno have a legal obligation to alert the authorities? No.
But he had a moral responsibility to do so. And, I don’t give a 894 if the students are upset that Joe Paterno got fired. They should have been upset about what happened to the victims.
Instead, they acted a fool over a coach.
Football is a game; these little boys had their lives shattered by an alleged pedophile.
But the students and Paterno aren’t even the worst of it. With the exception of Sandusky, wide receivers coach Mike McQueary, who was 28 (his age, not profanity) at the time he witnessed a child allegedly being molested, is an even bigger 589.
McQueary reportedly witnessed the alleged abuse and called HIS father. Not the child’s father. And not the police. What the 727? He didn’t even try to stop Sandusky, and McQueary’s father told Paterno. Yet, McQueary is still a part of the coaching staff at PSU.
I wonder if McQueary had witnessed a little girl being molested, would he have done the same thing? Would he have called the police or gone running to his father like a little 216?
Rape of anyone is a crime. But the fact that it was children allegedly being molested makes what has been reported even more heinous, and McQueary’s inaction even more inexcusable. McQueary shouldn’t be coaching. No one should be coaching because no one at Penn State should be playing football until the investigation is complete.
Why the NCAA is allowing Penn State to play is beyond me. Wait; actually, I do know why they are being allowed to play: M-O-N-E-Y.
It’s a shame that the alleged victims take a backseat to the revenue the football team generates for the university. It’s a travesty that anyone could still support the Nittany Lions.
Albert Einstein once said, “The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”
The situation at Penn State proves this quote to be true.
Interestingly enough, nittany means “single mountain.” Unfortunately, due to those people who knew about what allegedly occurred and did nothing, the football mountain at Penn State was sustained on the backs of little boys.
The police code for child molestation is 428. So regarding the Penn State sex abuse scandal, the score would be Penn State 428, Little Boys 0.
And that’s a 795 shame.

Are you fucking serious? Neither one of these two schools could finish above 500 in the PAC12. Penn state sucks dude. Shitty offense, totally predetermined plays....fucking borefest. By the way, there are gonna be some lean years, if not decades ahead for Nittany Kittens. You guys might as well drop out of the Big11 and join the Atlantic 10 or some division 3 league.

Unfortunately, it is being insinuated/advertised that poor/less
fortunate mothers do not have the same killer/protective instincts.
This could've been over in '98 if at least one such mother had.
