All About Now !

Postby bulldog » Wed Nov 16, 2011 8:32 am

The hardest thing when your a professional musician or a businessman is having the right products to perform or sell to the public. This band had it all ! It's about giving the fans what they want. The fans pay the bills after all . Yes the music is the most important but without the fans it means nothing. I am glad Frankie and Jimi are back at it again.

I think Frankie is awesome for putting it all aside and bringing back Jamo . Frankie loves his band , the name , the songs and the hard work and thousands of miles it took for them to get from there to here. When you love something that much it is easy then to realize the magic missing.

Credit to Jamo ! He has worked his ass off to reclaim his vocals and has toured all over the world to build a big name for himself again. I am sure he is working harder now at 60 then he did back in 1984 when Vital Signs hit. He made it happen.

Jim Peterik doesn't need to comeback . We want and need him back for one last run !

I am glad but only if the passion is there! Yesterday i posted a clip from youtube and Jimi wasn't doing cart wheels when he announced he was returning. On the front page of MR.com Frankie was quoted as having said the following: "a solid move" and "a step in the right direction" to get Jimi back in the fold to hit the road and in Frankie's words "go out and play the hits". FS comments make this sound solely like a business decision. I really hope the two have moved on from previous disagreements and truly have their patient fan base in mind. I'm looking forward to both Jimi's and Frankie's press releases as well as Andrew's journalism to shed more light. It's Joe Vana who has me believing in this whole thing.

Ironically, I just came on here to start up another thread to implore Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik to put aside any differences between them, and to revive the true Survivor.

Even if you don't want to do it for yourselves, please do it for the fans!!!

I think that there is at least one more great Jim Peterik/Frankie Sullivan Survivor album left in them. Why not bring it to life?

A Jimi Jamison, Frankie Sullivan, Jim Peterik, Marc Droubay and hopefully Stephan Ellis led Survivor could really make some noise in the Melodic Rock world again.

I have no doubt that that line-up could be part of some big-time concert packages with bands like Journey, Foreigner, Heart, Styx, etc.

Please do it guys. For the fans!

Slander.....it has all the feelings of a business decison only....don't you find it strange that this happens on the heels on that lawsuit concerning royalties? What's changed? Notice we haven't seen nor heard anything about that recently have we? Wonder why?

While I hope it's for all the right reasons, there's a part of me that's skeptical. And while I'd LOVE to see jim in the band i doubt that'll happen until he and frankie knock off the petty ass bullshit.

Absolutely axe. Like I said, judging from the early comments by fs and JJ this is hardly a lovefest. I hope we get more out of FS and JJ when Andrew works his magic! I have my doubts though.

Andrew was pretty successful with the Steve Perry interview, so maybe we'll learn some valuable details.

Yea but at times Frankie can make even perry look accessible.

I gave a 1 in 10 chance of Frankie following through on his promise to give AJM an interview.

Loved the end of the last one FS told Andrew "You hear something you wanna clear up call me right away!"

A short time later AJM said he tried to call Frankie and the number had changed.

The only person who has me excited about this reunion is JV! Other than that, this whole things seems forced. I really really really want to be wrong on this one.
