Congratulations, mr prosecutor sir!
They look they neither are reviewing the old tapes just for live rehearsals nor for the purpose of rerecording the whole album. We're both right, both wrong.
This is what Cain said.
"Arnel has this idea for ‘Arrival,’ he really wants to sing those songs. He feels that ‘Arrival’ just didn’t get the love that it should have gotten, maybe because it was CBS dropping the ball for us or something, I don’t know. That was an ill-fated album, but when Arnel listens to it, he’s like “I’d love to sing this stuff.”
So we’re looking at that – do we go back there and do that? I certainly have all of the tracks, I could simply just go “bang” and put out a new CD and see how that goes too, so that’s another idea that we’re looking at."
Even if they re-record Arrival, it's not like they will play the stuff live. I had a change of heart and went to the Hollywood Bowl show this year because I had heard that they would be doing "something different" that night. What that ended up being was a 10 minute fireworks display, not as I had hoped finally playing AIP, the one Eclipse song that had actually charted.
One song from Eclipse, no songs from Revelation and now we are talking about re-introducing Arrival tunes also?
