Glad someone else noticed that. That's my big issue with Tebow, beyond the fact that he can't throw a pass to save his life. I honestly think the guy is a complete fucking fraud of a human being. He tries to portray the public face of humility, but if you watch the shit he does and listen to his interviews, Tim is all about Tim. When he started rambling on about HIM (like he's the fucking guy out there swinging a hammer) building hospitals in The Phillipines, I had a sudden urge for a fucking root canal!

Not really. Rodgers can actually play the position, so deserves all the accolades he gets! Although, I could still REALLY do without the imitation of that douche Favre unsnapping his chin strap after EVERY down. That's simply embarrassing that he would copy Favre...especially playing in Green Bay.

How ignorant is that????

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Denver should be the easiest team in the entire NFL to play defense against!

That's actually the point I'm trying to make. I mean, we've heard so much about Tom Brady to the point where I want to puke. Same for Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Michael Vick, etc....I don't mind hearing about Tim Tebow, especially since this is his first season of getting to start. It will get old to me as well, since honestly, I'd rather hear about how the Redskins are a great team and going all the way (yes I know I'll have to wait awhile for that) rather than to constantly hear about Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Romo, etc....

Except... most of those guys can actually play some quarterback in the NFL (with the exception of Romo and probably Vick).

I expect the Chargers to pile up the points on the Broncos this weekend. Tebow will have to play catch up and by Monday we'l be hearing about giving Quinn another chance or why did the team wave Orton.

That shit always bothered me as well. He looks like a cheap imitation. Ever notice his cadence? "Red nineteeeen! Red nineteen set--." If you would close your eyes, he sounds identical to Favre. Drives me insane for some reason.

He would have been a great fit for the Bears, given Cutler's injury. Unfortunately for the Bears, the Chiefs get waiver priority, based on their sucky record.

Great pickup for K.C, terrible move by Denver. I believe with Teblow in the lineup, the Broncos won't win another game and Orton would of had the chance to come in and save their season in a pathetic AFC WEST. Now that's all out of the cards, they can only turn to Brady fucking Quinn if need be. They are investing the rest of this season on Timmy and I think that's a bad move for the Broncs now that Orton went to the Chiefs, who will atleast keep that team in playoff contention for the division, let alone having the chance to stuff it to Den in week 17.

Green Bay at Detroit - I still think Green Bay is going to lose this season, but this won't be the week. It will probably be a high scoring game, as neither defense is great. Should be an entertaining game to watch. For once in forever, I'm not completely offended to be forced to watch the Lions on Thanksgiving. Packers by 10.

Miami at Dallas - Ahhhhh...flashbacks of snow in Dallas on Thankgiving against Miami forever ago and Leon Lett's bone-headed play. Two teams who have each won three games in a row. Miam's streak is about to come to an end. Cowgirls by 14.

San Francisco at Baltimore - I don't see any shootouts in this game. Definitely more of a grudge match. I'm not sold on Joe Flacco, at all. That said, Alex Smith is on the other side of the field. Ravens by 4.

Green Bay at Detroit - Great Thanksgiving matchup. If there's anytime for the Packers to fall, it starts here. The Lions have the opportunity to put up some MAD numbers offensively and score some points. Suh must get into the head of Rodgers. If not, Rodgers will remain hot and that means keeping Green Bay's defense in it to make a play against a mistake prone Lions offense. Detroit's been comeback kids this season, just not this week. Packers by 10.

Miami at Dallas - Matt Moore may have saved head coach Tony Sporano's job at-least for another year with the never say die attitude and 3 game winning streak. Dallas, all of a sudden, is looking like the best team in the NFC EAST and Miami shouldn't be that big of a road bump for them with their eyes on the entire division. Cowboys by 16.

San Francisco at Baltimore - This will be a straight up, dog fight. 2 of the NFL's best defense's from each Conference will be on display and they shouldn't disappoint. On paper, these two teams almost look identical in their architecture. It will come down to the two quarterbacks performances. At this point, I trust the 9'ers feeding the rock to Gore and helping Alex Smith out over Cam Cameron's disability to abandon Ray Rice from time to time. Smith has been solid in a balanced offense, Flacco has been up and down in an offense that lacks identity. 49'ers by 7.

Now that Thanksgiving is here, the real football season actually begins. Teams in the NFL with the best records in games on or after Thanksgiving over the past 10 years:

Patriots - 61-15 .803 winning percentage
Steelers - 53-22 .707
Eagles - 48-27 - .640
Chargers - 41-24 .631
Colts - 47-28 .627
Packers - 44-27 .620

What's the common denominator? Those teams almost always make the playoffs (even though the Chargers always puke on their cleats when they get there).

Exactly. That's why the records after Thanksgiving matter a whole lot more. I called it earlier in this very thread that Buffalo would not make the playoffs this season, even after they started 4-1. Just not enough players or coaching to make anything happen on that team.

I agree. I always believed that. That's why I laughed my ass off when Gatorade was poured on Harbaugh in week 9 and then losing that next week to Seattle. Way too much football left to be played. Dallas is the perfect example of this. Start hot but unravel in December.

That's just the Pittsburgh fan in you coming out. I mean...let's be honest. Steeler fans now must hang on EVERY move the Ravens make for the rest of the season. Right now, the Steelers are a Wild Card team because the Ravens would be the division winner right now. The Steelers need to Ravens to lose as many games as possible. This really is going to be sooooooo unpredictable down the stretch. The Patriots are absolutely getting KILLED in Boston right now for playing like shit, and they are currently the number one seed in the entire AFC entering this weekend. At this point, no AFC team advancing to the Super Bowl this season would stun me. I just can't get a handle on who the good teams are, because they are all so flawed, for the first time in many years.

Ugh...He was one of my two starters. I've still got Maurice Jones-Drew but no one else to really take his place. I've still got a good team, though, and am 10-1 overall.

Of course, no argument from me. It's pretty obvious that Steelers fans will be watching every move from now on how the Ravens will perform, it's simply logic the rest of the season. Seattle already did us a favor and Arizona almost pulled it off as well. I see Baltimore having the potential to lose 2 more, Pittsburgh 1. AR said it best, that's wishful thinking because the Steelers simply need Baltimore to fall. It was just funny to see Baltimore give the Gatorade bath like they clinched the division when that's far from the case.

I noticed you always talk Pittsburgh and baltimore regarding the AFC North. Cincinnati lost close ones to both teams. They can still beat both teams and be right there. I think your hatred for the Bengals is showing.

Read a little more often, big Dean. I'm on record for giving nothing but this rejuvenated Bengals team a ton of credit. They are very, very tough and resilient. It finally shows what a head coach can do when he actually has a grasp on his football team. I just picked the Bengals last week to beat Baltimore and believe they will do so in Cincinnati. It's just their down 0-2 to both Pittsburgh AND Baltimore. The Steelers are just two down from Baltimore and have the edge over Cincy with head to head. Cincy will get second crack but I don't think their ready just yet but they will be a tough opponent.

Well 1st quarter is almost over and this is really ugly football. Rodgers is having a remarkable season and I like him, but I really don't like this brand of football. I don't care if it's the "modern" way.

I'm much more excited for 9ers-Ravens brother vs brother tonight.

GB getting bailed out 3 times by iffy penalties....that chopblock call was bogus. Player wasn't engaged. Shield going out of it's way to pump GB's tires....

and just as I say that - another egregious call on Wright. WOW.

The NFL really needs to get a handle on Pass Interference, as it's simply not called consistently. Wright never turned to look for the ball and yet no flag was thrown (that is supposed to be an automatic PI call). Yet, the call on McDonald against Jennings in the end zone was much more questionable to me. At least McDonald turned to look for the ball. The problem with PI as it exists now, is that nobody know what the hell is interference and what isn't.

Pretty much if you don't look back you are getting flagged....and with the trend now of DBs always having their backs turned to the QB...well, teams just chuck and hope for PI.

and that roughing call on Vanden Bosch was beyond laughable.....

Suh is a buffoon. This guy is going to seriously hurt someone soon. I'm all fine with brutal hits and solid football, but flat-out dirty plays week in and week out is despicable. This whole Lions "bad boy" schtick feels about as forced as 8th graders standing on the corner smoking cigarettes in an attempt to be "cool." Not genuine.

Funny thing - he never made contact with his foot. Grow some balls. This stuff is ticky-tacky....these players wouldn't have survived playing in the 70s.....bunch of pussies.

Or so you think! Wright never came close to looking back on that play and didn't get flagged, which is precisely my point. No penalty alters the outcome of a game more than PI, so the NFL really needs to do a better job in not making it such a subjective call.

Sure looked like he made contact on all 5 of the replays that I saw. Regardless of whether or not he made contact, Matt is absolutely right. Suh is a complete jackass to do what he did and get himself thrown out of a game that his team is being dominated in. Dude seriously needs to learn how to play NFL football. The guy should be suspended for his intent alone.
