It was practically an afterthought when Journey guitarist Neal Schon ran off with party crasher / reality star Michaele Salahi that he ditched a long-term partner as well.

One claiming she was "in a marriage-like relationship" with him and is owed a big payday as a result of his cheating ways, according to a lawsuit she just filed.

Ava Fabian, Playboy's Playmate of the month in August 1986, alleges she and the guitar great were together from February 2010 to September 2011, and wed this July.

Sources have said their Paris "wedding" was really just a "commitment ceremony" and not recognized as official under U.S. law, thus giving Neal legal wiggle room.

Not in Fabian's mind. The 49-year-old model-actress says she and the 57-year-old rocker accumulated joint property and income and that he agreed to support her.

She cites an "oral agreement" by which Schon would support her during the relationship and continue providing additional support for "a period of time" if it ended.

Ava Fabian asserts she "devoted her sole time and energy" to supervising Schon's affairs, such as caring for the musician's mother and children from previous unions.

Thus, she says, making their residence "presentable for parties and gatherings" and tending "to his every need to the detriment of her own career and livelihood."

Fabian believes Neal violated the terms of their deal when he began putting it to Michaele Salahi and she's seeking unspecified damages in return for her hardship.

She also wants "accrued interest for their express oral non-marital relationship agreement" and a court order forcing Schon to account for the assets and earnings.

Any way you want it? We shall soon find out. Meanwhile, Michaele's husband Tareq is also suing Neal. These two should really start dating, don't you agree?
