Looks like Colts are gonna take the pussy way out and run the ball all day and eat clock. NE let them convert THREE 3rd and long pass plays. No pass rush to speak of......

I'm really trying to figure out why I have to be subjected to Tim Tebow here in the Cleveland market and NOT the fucking Bengals-Steelers. Pisses me off.

Are you in Bible belt?

On a side note: I used to think Mellencamp was saying, 'Let the bottle bill come and save my soul'...instead of Bible belt.....

Definitely not. I'm in Cuyahoga County... one of the staunchest liberal/Democratic areas of the country I'd imagine  . Seriously, what a fucking waste. Makes no sense. Why not have the AFC North matchup on up here?

It wasn't a prediction so much as it was a joke....and Pitt doesn't look good either. Doing well with a short field...not so much when they have to start deep in their own end.

The Dolphins are currently buttfucking the Raiders. Weird ass turnaround for the Dolphins this year.

Eh, at best they'll get Michael Jacksoned. The Ravens offense is almost as putrid as ours with the exception of that game-winning drive against the Steelers a few weeks ago.

In past years, I'd be saying this is exactly the type of games the Browns would step up and win, especially given the Ravens anemic offense and inconsistent play this year.

They'd play utterly horrible all year, then play way above their heads to somehow win against a superior team (e.g., 08 Monday Night Football vs defending SB champion Giants, 09 in December against the Steelers, '10 against the Saints and Pats). But unfortunately, this team this year is so bland and devoid of explosiveness, fire, and creativeness that I can't be predicting that.

I wouldn't include NE in that scenario....it was ALL Hillis in that game. Nothing else.

Hmm. I seem to recall 3 New England turnovers, including 2 lost fumbles. I also recall a crucial run by Colt. Most of all, there was a lot of defensive confusion created by Rob Ryan/Mangini's schemes despite the lack of overall defensive talent. Hillis definitely had a monster game. But in the end, Belichick got straight-up outcoached by his one-time charge, Mangini. Peyton Hillis didn't hold the Patriots O to 14 points.

You're hilarious. You are like the kid who never grew out of the "making every excuse in the book and minimizing the opponent's play" phase of learning to lose like a man.

I actually saw that play and was stunned it wasn't called. Right before the half, and such an obvious call. That said, that's not why the Bengals lost this game. They were fucking BRUTAL. So long Bengals and so long Raiders!

Soory, Matt...you are wrong. I study the actual gameplay more than ten of you people combined. Game Theory/basic logic wins every time. Again, play calling accounts for 100X more loses than talent, sorry. If you're team gets raped in ALL phases, then you have a point. If a RB just has a career game - well put it down as luck. I've seen NE lose a SB on a holding call that wasn't called, and another one on return yards by a rent-a-player. In neither game did they get outplayed/outcoached. The Bears smoked them 46-10....other than that, their play calling does them in every time.

Minnesota's QB gave that game away. Tebow actually did play well today, but he didn't have much to do with the game winning FG, considering Denver was already well within FG range when the ball was picked off.

2 gift calls give GB another TD....GB is the darling of the NFL now. I don't expect them to lose a game now. The whole league is pumping Rodger's tires. That PI call on Prince happens on EVERY pass play...suspect that it is called there.

HORESHIT Illegal Contact call on 3rd down on what would have been, for EVERY other team in the NFL, a 4th and 21 after the sack on Rodgers. One of the worst calls of the season. Probably going to win the game for the Packers. BULLSHIT. And I hate the Giants. The refs have affected more W/L this year than ever before. Wow.

Apparently, regardless of who the coach is in Dallas, these fuckers simply don't have a clue. Garrett has TWO timeouts left with 24 seconds left in the game and yet chooses not to use one to get the ball closer? He has Romo rush (not really) up to the line to spike the ball to bring the clock from 24 seconds to 7 seconds (did I mention the fucker had two timeouts left). He then waits until his kicker is ready to kick and THEN decides to call a timeout (apparently to "freeze" his own kicker). His kicker made the kick (that didn't count thanks to Garrett's complete fucking goofy timeout). You could see where this was going, as Bailey misses the kick that counted. Even if the fraud Cowgirls win this game, this is fucking embarrassing. High school coaches wouldn't mismanage a game this badly.

58 seconds is too much time to leave Rodgers. On another note, this is really an astonishing season for QB play. I've never seen a season like this, where I believe Rodgers owns the MVP until proven otherwise, and yet Brees and Brady are both having MVP seasons. Crazy shit.

Case in point....play calling cost the Giants the game in regulation. Instead of running clock in the red zone, they decide to throw the ball and stop the clock - giving GB time to do what you just saw.....

S2M's gimmick posting is getting more and more severe every week  He's now just a figure-head rather than someone offering their side of things. Hilarious. He studies the gameplay more than ten of us combined. I bet he wouldn't be able to grasp his ears around one single play-call and the football terminology spoken inside it  I must hand it to him, though. He can see a holding call from his television set. Time to put refs in recliners!
