TJ Yates is generating some buzz and some comparisons to Tom Brady (career trajectory so far, draft position, lack of hoopla around him, coming in to replace an injured, very solid veteran QB on a playoff team etc). I'm curious to see him play. It's obviously way too small a sample size to compare him to Brady. But it's intriguing nevertheless.

The Packers are still undefeated and the Giants and their fans have to move on and deal with an obvious blown call that everyone, including upstairs, ruled a touchdown. There's only so many times, weekly, daily, that we can all admit that ref's make good decisions for what they are asked to do and also make bad judgmental decision's on throwing a penalty flag or ruling this call or that call either this way or that way. There just isn't many other ways to debate this, haha. How in the hell did you survive watching games BEFORE replay? I mean, atleast now they can go in and try to correct calls for what it's worth.

I grew up a Baltimore Colts fan. They moved when I was in high school.

If the owners had only given the Indy franchise a new start with a clean slate, new identity and uniforms I wouldn't have cared and wished them well.

Had the Browns retained their name when they moved to Baltimore, there is no way I could have gone along for the ride. I know what Cleveland went through. Add 13 years to that, and imagine Baltimore claiming Jim Brown as part of their history and you may understand why the thought of the "Indianapolis Colts" claiming Johnny Unitas in their history makes me want to puke.

That's because I care more about the integrity of the game than getting my sports bets in, or worrying about some lame fantasy football stats....It's funny that YOU claim to be this tech wizard, owning six 135" HDTVs, but didn't catch this in real time. A little less time worrying if Chris johnson is playing, and a bit more time wondering if the 4:15 game is legit....

As far as NE? They should have lost the first game to NY(last game of the season). I believe a bogus penalty awarded NE that game. I'm not adverse to ragging on my own team. But it has gotten to the point where teams are getting screwed out of wins every damn week.

Dude, that's all fan fabricated, completely different on how the ref's call a game within the confides of the rules and the human element. What Bellichick did was abuse the rules and integrity of the game. It's over and done with and only used in fun debates within the hatred of the fan-base's, just like "Rapistberger" and all of that hoopla. More of an emotional approach to a debate between a fan-base. The refs garbage you spew after every game is just old and tiring to read page after page, especially since it's the most common human element in the game.

Good point, John. If I remember correctly, wasn't there a huge call that year in 2007 when the Ravens faced the Patriots on Monday Night Football? I can't remember the exact call, but Baltimore was leading at home and there were a couple obvious phantom calls against Baltimore on New England's game winning drive that many people within' questioned. Not sure exactly what it was but if that same scenerio happened this season, S2M's rants would be amplified. Of course, there was no 'collusion' for the undefeated Pats in 2007.

Look at how the entire Colts organization reacted when they found out Peyton was in worse condition as they thought. They had no backup plan whatsoever and had to settle on Kerry Collins to go in there and hope he could learn terminology to not lose any games. Then in comes Curtis Painter, which we all know how that turned out. Point is, the Colts were starting to fall with Manning IN the lineup. They showed signs of a bad football team and relied heavily on Manning to win football games. Like Brady the last couple seasons, the team took to Manning as the Colts offense being their best defense. Score points and make up for the defensive holes. Same with Brady this season. When he couldn't muster up enough offense, the Pat's dropped in the "L" column.
