Most of the reports that I have seen state that he failed the test a couple months back, long before the season ended for the Brewers, so it is obvious that MLB knew this at the time, and let things play out. If I were Matt Kemp, I'd be pretty pissed knowing that I probably only lost out on the MVP because my team didn't make the playoffs, and now I lost it to a guy who was talking PEDs.

I don't think it's been officially announced by MLB until the appeal is heard.

-He doesn't test positive for a PED, he tests positive for something on the MLB list of banned substances. Fair enough. Guilty.
-But, apparently his testosterone level was more than double the highest ever failed test??? How is that even possible?
-Outraged at the result, he asks for a retest and the result comes back negative. From what I've read, that would be an impossible result based on the first insanely elevated levels as there wasn't enough time to get it back to zero.
Something smells here.

Maybe it's the Selig/Milwaukee connection. Hasn't his sister (or someone in his family) been running that team since he "moved on" to become the Commish?
