MY E-VENT: Venting my rage about all the crap I had to write about in my gossip column at Grabya! News, the online news site where I work… Newt Gingrich’s campaign organization has been claiming his 1980 Georgia divorce from this first wife was something she wanted. But the just-released divorce papers tell a very different tale: He was the one who brought the divorce action. And he was just getting started. Another divorce and some out-of-wedlock canoodling brings us to wife #3, who fiercely states that as President, he won’t make a move without her. That it, until he starts canoodling around again with a new vice President? *
Hey, remember Tareq Salahi, who crashed the White House dinner with his wife, Michaele, who then ran off with the “Journey” guitarist Neal Schon? Well, the cuckolded husband is now suing them for $17 million, claiming they sabotaged his career by publicly humiliating him with their flagrant affair, as well as the public taunting, the $10,000 lingerie shopping sprees, the on-stage fooling around, and the penis pix. Why is all that worth $17 million? According to the outraged hubby, ticket sales for the band’s tour skyrocketed after Michaele became their groupie, and the two are talking to the networks about a reality show that exploded his own plans for a reality show. Who’d he think would tune in to see his version of “Biggest Loser?” *
Kim Il Un’s powerful uncle seems to have paved the way for the 29-year-old heir to North Korea, the anointed son of the previously anointed son, the very recently deceased Kim Il Jong, to be “invited” to assume the top spot in the North Korean hierarchy. We are told that the people are now ecstatic as well as starving. * The quote that got to me this week was Matthew McConnachy’s. He tweeted that he had proposed to his Brazilian model girlfriend Camila Alves, the woman he been dating for 5 years and with whom he has two children and wrote, "I found the woman I wanna…make a family with, hopefully live our life out together." Five years and two children later, he “found” her? Why didn’t Matthew Mhe try looking in his bedroom? It’s that kind of incisive Hollywood thinking that makes me yearn to ditch this crummy, exploitive career and get to New York and pursue the real, gritty kinds of stories that will make me a journalistic legend and not a jerky lame-brain.
