Anyone doing New Years at home?

Postby artist4perry » Sun Jan 01, 2012 12:33 pm

I went out for a while today, had a wonderful lunch with Dan, and went to Starbucks to draw till they closed at 6:00. I am nursing an earache that is starting to hurt quite a bit. Staying in, and avoiding dangerous people on the road.

Did I tell you Christmas Eve we had a drunk come across into our lane straight at us? Thanks to Danny's driving skills we avoided being hit by this clod.

So what is everyone doing tonight? :D

I am just relaxing and working on some art, I come over and check what is said from time to time. I had been invited to a party at church, but just don't feel up to it this year.

Went out for a wonderful dinner with my wife, (early of course) now having drinks together and listening to music.
Every year so grateful to have her.

Just hanging out at home. I'm sitting by the fire watching old movies, husband asleep on the couch. Dog is sleeping on the floor. Pretty exciting stuff! :D :D :D Just finished reading Glenn Hughes' autobiography.

Home and safe. I'll leave the excess partying to the idots that want to hang out all over town, then attempt to drive home. Many of them won't make it, as the DUI patrols are pretty thick and around here they stop people randomly on these types of nights. I'm just drinking a bit of Crown Royal (my holiday drink) and smoking a couple good cigars. A couple more glasses of wine and the old lady will get in the mood. :D

Oh no. I am glad you are okay. I am at home this year. I have spent the evening cleaning my living room and as a result have an awful headache. I still have the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom to go, but that will probably wait until tomorrow.
