One doesn't mess with muslims. They got God on their side. Tebow seems like a faggot. You got to be incredibly ignorant if you think that some God had anything to do with you scoring a goal/point.

Arent you an aetheist? I think I read a post where you said that. If not I apoligize for thinking it. Otherwise that would explain why you feel this way. I was raised in a God fearing southern family so I'll differ with you.
Tebow being a "faggot" is a ridiculous remark. Hes living the way he does based on his religion, not because he likes boys. That would be the former defensive coordinator at Penn State. Damn, I wish I hadnt said that!

I didn't mean faggot in the gay sense, but in the South Park sense. Starting to cry and pray while on the pitch just seems like a really pretentious and annoying thing to do. "God, I'm the most important person in the world, so listen to my prayer." Come on, the guy can't possibly believe that God had anything to do with his success? It's called hard work and determination combined with genetics and other external factors.

Parfinator, I can tell you for fact, as a supporter whose had the honor of meeting Tebow and talking with him many times during his college years and listening to him speak at churches around the area the guy prays all the time. He truly believes in a higher power. I dont think any of this is a show for him, he hasnt asked for any of this. The sports media jumps on every Tebow move.

So what you're saying is, he prays to the Old Testament? Makes sense now.

He prays to whatever Testament he wants to! We can joke about the guy's religion because obviously since his University of Florida days its somethings hes had to contend with. Its a complete shame that the only dirt people can pull up on him is A)Maintaing a good Christian life thanks to a good Chistian upbringing B) Maintaining his virginity until his wedding day 3) He is Pro-Life 4) He gets down on a knee and thanks God after a good play, and as a Florida supporter this is nothing new that he started in the NFL. Go back and watch his college years, all the way back to his first true freshman game. Hell, even old high school games. Hes always "Tebowed".
For all of this he definetly deserves to be hung from an old oak tree, wild west style.
Just always remember the following though and just maybe he will let you live:

•Life doesn't give Tim Tebow lemons. Life asks him which fruit he wants.
•Tim Tebow doesn't bowl strikes, he just knocks down one pin and the other nine faint.
•Tim Tebow can eat just one Lay's Potato Chip. Don't tell Tim what he can't do.
•There are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Tim Tebow lives in Florida.
•God wanted to create the world in 10 days, Tim Tebow gave him 6.
•What color is Tim Tebow's blood? Trick question. Tim Tebow does not bleed.
•It takes Tim Tebow 20 minutes to watch 60 Minutes.
•Bo knows football. Bo knows baseball. Bo does not know Tim Tebow.
•Tim Tebow's tears can cure cancer ... but he's never cried. Ever.
•Tim Tebow is so fast, he can run around the Earth and stiff-arm himself in the back.
•The primary ingredient in Red Bull is Tim Tebow's sweat.
•'Icy-Hot' is too weak for Tim Tebow. After a game, Tim Tebow rubs his muscles down with liquid-hot magma.
•On a hot day, you can find Tim Tebow swimming in Lake Alice and biting the alligators.
•When Tim Tebow does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down.
•If at first you don't succeed, you're not Tim Tebow.
•Superman's weakness is Kryptonite. Tim Tebow laughs at Superman for having a weakness.
•Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Tim Tebow pajamas.
•Chuck Norris wears Tim Tebow pajamas.

*Death once had a near Tebow experience.

I was rewatching it and I actually can see how it can be a little offensive. Not to Tebow so much, but with how Christ is portrayed. For example the comment made about Jesus praying to the other football player. I know it was a skit, but he wouldn't do that, ala no other gods before me , no praying to idols and such. That and Jesus flashing the devil sign and talking about how he is forgiven. That former could be considered quiet blasphemous. The second just goes against the Bible entirely. The Bible says god was perfect and without sin. Yes, he took on the sins of this world through his death on the cross and coming down in human form, but he was sinless. It is kind of like that Joan Osborne song, "What if God was One of Us?: At the time that it came out, I didn;t think much about the song. Looking back though, I now see how wrong the song is. God/Jesus is not one of us. Yes, he came down in human form. But the song's lyrics seems to imply that we are all God, that anybody can be God. While we are called to be Christ like, there is only one god and he is perfect.I know I am being very broad here. I am simply stating my understanding of god and the Bible. JMO based on what I know.

Don't sweat it, my man. If Tebow' abilities as a QB ever match his heart, he'll win 5 Super Bowls. A lot of people have heart but if some Super Bowl worthy potential-champions would have the heart of Tebow, they wouldn't be grieving year after year when talking about guys like Terrell Owens, Randy Moss or Donovan McNabb. I'd like to see Tebow play a more Full-back type role and pass the QB duties to someone else. He'd be a force in that niche. He'd remind me of a more athletic, Mike Alstott.

I agree with that YJ. I would also like to see him with a team that features a wildcat formation. But before I close the book on him as a QB Im really interested in seeing what kind of progression he makes in the offseason.

The Wildcat fad was figured out years ago and went the way of the dinosaurs. Which is a perfect example why you can not be a one dimensional running QB and succeed in the NFL. It's something that the idiot Denard Robinson from Michigan doesn't seem to understand, as he's putting out feelers with NFL brass asking where he'd go in the draft.

He pretty much is running the "Wild Cat." Tebow was so bad in a conventional offense that John Fox literally SCRAPPED the entire playbook and put in an opinionated, college offense, which is actually a form of the Wild Card. They simply run Florida's system now because he can't do anything else. Shotgun formation, running back to your right, running back to your left, fake to the back, read the tackle, keep it, boot out and see if the corner crash's down to either pitch it, or keep it. That's Denver's offense now. It may have worked in those last SECONDS earlier in the season, but it won't last more than an hour in the NFL. His production has SEVERELY gone down since Marion Barber lost that Bears game.

Tebow is miserably pathetic. Why wasn't this established in the first page and the thread allowed to die? It's all there is to say about this issue.

Holy crap! Troy Polamalu just crossed himself on the football field! Do you think that SNL will do another skit next week! Oh that's right... he's a minority. Only white guys (especially from the south) are not supposed to pray or mention God in public. Funny no one ever poked fun at Reggie White "The Minister of Defense" when he would hold a prayer service on the field after each game. Because if they did he'd kick their ass... and then pray for them. Why can't people just live and let live? Last I heard we had freedom of religion and expression in this country. People should leave the young man alone. I think he has enough pressure as a rookie starting quarterback in the playoffs. Personally I'm a nonbeliever, but I still respect people who do.

So does 316 yards (on only 10 completions) and 2 touchdowns qualify? Only 2 TDs passing, but how about that OT connection to Thomas - that oughtta be worth a few bonus points, wouldn't you say? 8)

Read a little bit more than the highlighted version. I said I'd be the first one to congratulate Broncos fans if such a performance was made and I did just that, congratulate Broncos fans that reside here and also elsewhere. Judging by how Tebow entered the post-season by being the WORST QB by statistic's in the NFL, I'd make that prediction 100 times over along with the rest of the world. He only completed 10 pass's (my prediction of 7), but all of them were for a huge chunk of yardage downfield, something the Steelers literally gave away like a charity function. Pittsburgh totally melted down. This performance still doesn't change my opinion on how I believe he is a flash in the pan. Eating crow is a part of being a sports fan and I have no problem doing it whatsoever. Again, congrats to the Broncos and their fans. They deserve the victory.

Thanks for the congrats. Being a Steelers fan it must really suck to do that. :( But.... in reading above my highlight of your comments, you said that if the Broncs win it wouldn't be because of Tebow, do you still contend that to be true? Certainly it was a combined effort, but as the QB is historically praised for a win and vilified for a loss, don'tcha think he deserves props? I didn't watch the game, only got to hear the final seconds on the radio and read some reports online, but by all accounts he played well in this game. Divine intervention or running for his perverbial life (career), IDK. But he did what Elway told him to do, he pulled the trigger. And for whatever reason, the #1 defense in the NFL (per your definition) couldn't contain him. I'm hoping not to see a repeat of the last Broncos/Pats matchup, but I'm not feeling overconfident either.
