Cool guitarist

I rarely get impressed by guitarists, but this guy is both original and got great chops. Plus, the tone he gets out of his strat with just a JCM and a Eleven Rack is real good.

Yeah. Started playing a couple of years ago when I really got into Schon. Got okay chops; slow as fuck though. Playing on a modded strat plus. You?

Yeah. Been playin all my life. I'm decent. I got an American Strat (96), MusicMan Luke, and a Schecter C-1 Classic (cheap guitar, but actually great for the money... great for 80s/AOR). Also have several other novelty guitars that I've gotten signed by various people and what not. Here's an OK pic of my little collection:

The two on the far right are a novelty Epiphone guitar with the Rock Hall on the body, signed by various rockers from Don Felder (eagles guitarist), Eddie Money, members of War and the Romantics, and others. The far right is a Gretsch Electro-matic signed by Todd Rundgren - actually a very nice guitar that was signed in a very bad place -- will rub sig off if I play it more. Here's a close-up of the novelty rock hall guitar (got it for $100 and it's pretty cool):

And Todd Rundgren's signature:

Thankfully, the heinous leather couches are no longer part of my furniture collection.

Yeah, it's not a bad little guitar. That's not a top of the line version of that guitar, it's the $550 version. The bridge PU still sounds really nice though. Neck PU needs replaced, and of course, the Bigsby knockoff (whatever the Floyd Rose Licensed version of Bigsby is) would need to be replaced with the real thing. That damn thing looks cool, but one little flutter and all 6 strings are out of tune. But it plays and feels really nice otherwise. Someday I'll get around to modding it to make it gig-worthy.

Man, I love the finish on the Musicman. Haven't strayed far away from the strat, so yet to try a Gretsch. Sweet guitar though. What kind of music do you play? Here's mine:

That was a great clip. Thanks.
