Just curious. I have to say that I am STOKED for the Van Halen concert, and will DEFINITELY be heading to Charlotte in April! :D Any of you have any big concert plans this year?

Hoping to catch Black Sabbath and Journey this year

I've never been a fan of Sabbath, but I'm sure the reunion will draw huge numbers! I hope you have fun. Journey... eh... I think I'm good on Journey concerts unless they get a new singer. Not being an ass here, but I just can't get into them anymore. Maybe if they put out a true "Journey" album and bring back the huge layered vocals... Guess we'll see.

It would definitely be one huge energy-packed show! Both singers are struggling big time, but it should still be a great time. I hope Paul's surgery helps, and I hope we hear a couple of more albums from them before they throw in the towel. If they come around here, maybe we could catch a concert together!

Biggest news this side of the globe is that Wiggles frontman Greg Page will rejoin the band after 5 years getting well. The Yellow Wiggle is back! Can't wait for the concert...

I've got my eyes on Halestorm, Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Lacuna Coil this year. Damned if I can afford to see them all though.

I may even add Delain to the list if they so choose to do their first US tour.

Without a doubt Van Halen. Followed by what I hope is a Kiss/Motley Crue double bill.

Don't see many shows anymore. Going to try and get to Marillion in Chicago in the summer, have Melissa Etheridge coming up in April - I'm sure I'll see Train out this way. Would love for Kenny Loggins to swing back through.

AR, we have the same taste. Hell, I've always liked bands that wrote about having a good time, partying & pussy. I also love going to shows that the band playing draws lots of pretty women, cause if I can't touch them, at least I can look at them. Bands that have basically a man bone audience isn't my cup of tea. I remember last year when I took my son to a Megadeth concert (Cause he thinks Dave Mustaine is the shit) and I was surrounded by nothing but sweaty ass motherfuckers that looked liked they just came out of the Iron Eagle biker bar from the abyss of hell, smelling like shit and looking even worse. Even though I'm in good shape and my son is too, I was actually wondering if something went down, (Cause I don't & won't put up with a lot of shit) would I make it outta here alive. Even the few fucking women who were there, looking like crack hoes or they just came from the tattoo parlor looked liked they had rabies and would take a great big jaw's like bite out of you with their fucked up teeth. Anyway, It's Sunday, just got up after a night of Stella & Tequila. Feel pretty fuckin good. Think I'll take the boat out on the bay till the game's begin at 3. Cool! Saw a great Damon Johnson solo acoustic show last year. He played several Brother Cane tunes. Wonder what happened to the other two original guys?

With the exception of Van Halen, I'd go to a Megadeth show over the other two any day of the week.

Confirmed so far:

Roger Waters - The Wall Live - March
Marillion - October
and maybe Queensryche - April (This show will celebrate their 30th anniversary)

TBC: JSS - May

...and I'd like to see Sabbath (Hoping that Tony Iommi could recover soon!), Van Halen, Journey, and that Kiss/Crue double bill...
