I am truly exited to get a new project started as so many of you have requested. As you might know this will require your participation, truly a joint effort, and I have no doubt you'll come through as always. Looking forward to it...The Mastedon 3 album was excellent and he still sounded like he was in top form.

Yep...me too! Easily one of my most favorite singers of all time.

To me, he sounds better now than he did as a youngster in Kansas. I liked him as a singer back then but I actually think his voice is better now.

I honestly can't tell a huge difference in his voice - which means his voice has held up and maintained over the years. Of course, he spent several years producing more than singing, but still, it always seems difficult for tenor vocalists to maintain their voice. John hasn't aged at all. Just last week, I was looking up old Mastedon videos from 1990. Found a clip of his band performing Fight fire with Fire. Pretty cool!
