Mike Farris- Amazing singer

Postby UncleKG » Tue Jan 31, 2012 6:15 am

Mike Farris used to sing for a rock band in the 90's called the Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies. He's now clean and sober and sings old school blues-based gospel. I've seen him a couple of times, and he always puts on an amazing show. So much soul and passion in his voice. Give it a listen.

I totally agree UncleKG! If you never picked up a copy of the SCW cd "Magnolia" It's great. It's too bad that there aren't any good videos of Mike with SCW. What's out there was shot in bars and the video is too dark and the sound sucks. Mike has such an amazing voice, I don't know why he isn't a huge star! I'd live to hear him sing blues, but he's inspired to sing old time gospel and boy does he ever! Here's a couple of my favorites tunes. :D
