I love how the Sound does this every week, where they get a celebrity and then a regular music fan after that to play DJ for a little bit..

This is a program I've used for a while. If there is a radio program
you want to hear..just schedule it & this program does the rest.
After recording it..you can listen online to it & then save it to your
puter files if you want...

DAR.fm is a service that lets you record radio stations and shows so you can listen whenever you like. Please browse the site to find some radio to record.

Thanks Tater, I'm using it to record as well.

QUESTION:
Does anyone know how long Steve's DJ program will last? (i.e. 1 hour, 3 hours, etc.)

The "My Turn" segment is usually an hour (about time for 14 tracks), then it switches over to "Your Turn" where a local listener gets to play DJ for an hour also.

"My Turn" is one of The Sound's most talked about on-air features where artists and personalities take over The Sound airwaves. It happens every Sunday evening at 6:00 PM, commercial free. This unique program allows these artists to pick their own music and be a real Los Angeles radio DJ.

Recent guests include Beck, Kevin Nealon, Gavin Rossdale, BB King, The Pretenders, Sasha Vujacic and Pau Gasol of The Los Angeles Lakers and many more!

Steve would be a great DJ, loved his playlist and of cause I had to smile when he did a shout out to Neal. I noticed that it was loaded with messages through music to some special people in his life, I hope they get it because it was as clear as glass without going into great details. I think a great song that would sum up Steve Perry is the song by the Four Tops called "Still Waters Run Deep" and that is why so many fans love him forever and always. Steve if you read this post keep running deep because I think you love your fans and your music as much your fans love you and your music. 8)
