Right, but Sammy just pulled down a cool $80 Million when he sold stake in Cabo Wabo Tequila. He just does what he wants to do and he's earned it.

And nothing wrong with that!

Amen. Plus, Sammy ROCKS at pretty much whatever he does. Plus, you know Sam has saved twice as much as Ed and DLR have blown.

Damn straight. I think the brothers are furious at how much money Sam has made.

Like I have posted. I like both versions of VH. Happy for what they are doing with DLR now, and sorry that they didn't finish it right with Sammy.

"5150" made me a Van Halen fan and they were my band for several years. That being said, I now enjoy the Roth-era VH slightly. I will say, though, that band during the 5150 tour was at the top of the heap, in my opinion. Sammy's voice was at its peak, as was EVH's guitar playing, in my opinion. That and the energy that band put out onstage was amazing, as evidenced in the "Live Without a Net" concert video, still one of my all-time favorite live performances from anyone.

And that's where they're both letting their ego's get ahead of themselves - I get it tho - you see it every day.

Dave kinda blows Dance the Night Away...why does he do that when on other tunes it's clear he can still do it the right way when he wants to, mostly? Dance the Night Away, Everbody Wants Some and Panama are the 3 songs of this concert when he just mails it in.

Wow. He was struggling mightily in the first song. He might be a candidate to get what Jeremey got done.

I'll bet Sammy just loves that. I really liked Sammy until he started his childish shit spewing. I don't give a crap how rich you are, you're doing yourself nothing but damage. I would see DLR with Van Halen every day, but you won't catch me at a Chickenfoot concert. I've tried to like them but I find them uninteresting. Especially now.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Dear lord, who the fuck would pay money to see this? DLR looks and sounds like he's constipated and the tempo is really dragging.

DLR, much like Bob Dylan, never had much of a voice but it worked for him in his prime. Now, when even the small semblance of a "voice" that he once had is gone, it's just AWFUL.

I'm going to Atlantic City. His voice works well enough for me. It's not all about pitch perfect vocals. The attitude makes up for it.

Whoa! They played Girl Gone Bad! And listen to Ed rip through the solo. Spot on great! And Dave at the end "Perfect ending. That's the best fucking ending in Rock & Roll" (Alex grins from ear to ear). Liking it.

Giving the fans the deep cuts as well as the hits. Eddie's tone sounds incredible on this tour. Even the crappy recordings convey his tone. Nice
