Fucking way cool Ed! I wish big time bands would have done this back in the day, maybe they wouldn't charge a grand to do it. I remember trying to win that Lost weekend with Van Halen when MTV put it on. Looking back, it's best I probably didn't, I might not have made it back alive! I have never done a meet and greet with my favorite bands but I did pay for one for my son & his favorite about a year and a half ago.

I had met them for free several times and would have never paid for the meet and greet. However I had some disposable income that found it's way to me and my daughter loves them, so I sprung for 3 passes that night. We also had front row - which was amazing and my daughter handled her first concert very well as seen here.

I'll have to dig up my portraits with Barry Horowitz, Rudy Diamond, and the Brooklyn Brawler.

Owned by Verne Gagne, the Hulk started out his career with the AWA, Mean Gene Okerlund was the announcer, other famous wrestlers included Bobby "The Brain Heenan", Nick Bockwinkle, Jessie "The Body Ventura", The Vashon Brothers and local Milwaukee hero, the Crusher. Who said he kept in fighting shape by running along the lake front with a full barrel of beer over each shoulder. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

I think you will recognize these two then.

Not very many of them that I haven't met or gotten a photo op with.

I remember Firpo from old wrestling magazines but never saw him wrestle in person.

Bobby Heenen looks really bad these days. Terrible bouts with cancer which had cost him his speech. My pic was taken before that happened.

Here's another one for the wrestling fans.
