If didn't work out means taking your team to a 12-4 record, finishing 1st in the NFC NORTH, throwing 33 touchdowns to only 7 interceptions & leading the way to the 2009 NFC Conference Title Game and being 1 throw away from the Super Bowl, I'll take it. 8)

He's a cliche' drivin' robot that never amplifies his comfort zone in his own personality when the camera's are around. He comes off as a total fake to me in every sense of the word. Everything about him seems scripted. He just rubs me the wrong way. It's almost like he's programmed and was ready for what has happened to him, regardless of how he stinks it up on the field. If that was ME, and I played competitive football, to go onto the media after pitiful performances and smile from ear to ear and talk about the grace of God and how we are one, just wouldn't fly for me. I don't know about anyone else.

As a person, I'd ask him to be the best man in my wedding, but his his personality comes a sense of bullshit. That's how I feel though. I wish I didn't feel that way because his story is great for the NFL.

I find it interesting that you see it that way. I see it the exact opposite....he has always been very involved in charities, religion has always been a major part of his life and he's an all around good person-he doesn't hide that and he's not ashamed of it and I find it very admirable.

I agree he's a good man and I admire him making donations to charities as well. I just think he push's it too far and he comes off as obnoxious and fake. He kind of plays a character & it doesn't sit well with me but I do too like the man Tim Tebow. All of his interviews are just full of cliche's. Not one thing he ever says comes from the natural heart or normal emotion. It's always:

"First I would like to thank my savior and lord Jesus Christ for gracing my teammates and myself with the ability to pull this win off. We played with full of heart, determination and we never quit. We are a band of brothers in arms and I am 100% confident in their ability to win football games and I'm just thrilled to be apart of the Denver Broncos and the Denver Broncos organization and I just thank Jesus Christ for giving me this opportunity to play with such a group of men. We are the few we are the proud, we are the Broncos."

See, most of that is ramble. Sometimes you listen to him and say "Uhhuh." I prefer natural emotion that comes from a highly competitive contest. Like Bart's Scott's answer to playing the Steelers in 2010 to go onto the Super Bowl. He responded, snarling "CAN'T WAIT!" That's raw emotion to me. Tebow has none of it.

I totally agree the stuff he says sounds scripted most of the time. I don’t believe it is though. As a Chargers fan I get to listen to Phillip Rivers and his scripted lines too. They rarely come off as genuine, because Phillip is trying to toe the line and not say anything to stir up controversy.

Like in 1995 when Neil O’Donnell could have thrown his receiver under the bus for those two picks he through, but he didn’t.

You can’t argue that Tebow didn’t show any emotion in that short press conference after the loss to Ole Miss.

9ers are not interested in Tebow... The issue is that that 9ers want to resign Smith, but he feels slighted because they went after Manning. That being said, there is little to no interest Smith outside the 9ers, so once Smith deals with his emotions, I am sure he'll sign the contract that they've had on the table.

Right...9ers (and Harbaugh) are satisfied with AS as their QB for the time being (ergo, only 3-yr 24M deal, which I guess was an insult to Alex)...Speculation is Colin Kapernick (traded up in 2ndR to get him last yr) is more highly thought of as their future franchise QB.

Prediction making the rounds is that TT will go to some struggling team (that needs more wins or publicity) for a 5thR draft pick...quite a downgrade for a R1 pick just few years ago.

Rip,

I thought the Reason Rally was to celebrate our Country's freedom of religion and protect equal right and representation of every citizen regardless of belief. However your last sentence seems to indicate that you intend to prove everyone of faith is wrong and you are right. That seems just as bad as people of any faith's condemnation of non-believers.

I was just kidding - I have nothing against people believing as long as they don't try to force it on others. Going to see the speakers and some friends, plus, the Westboro Baptist Church is supposedly going to show up. :)

Well, I can't remember being sober one night in the last two weeks, so the chances of that are reasonably high.

Do these Westboro Baptist people actually follow through on their threats/plans to show up at half the stuff they say they are going to? I don't think they do, but would like some confirmation on my intuition.

Best thing to do is just not watch his post game interviews if it bothers you that badly. If you want to see a post game interview, watch one of Rex Grossman's. LOL! That will make you wanna throw your TV through the window.

The only thing I watch on television, literally, is ESPN, NFL Network and all my football shows. I've never seen the amount of semen being spread over someone in my life than when it came to headlining Tim Tebow. It was Tim Tebow and his 6 completion highlight reel and literally nobody else. Atleast Rex Ryan has character. His stint ended years ago though. When a team doesn't perform by your ridiculous words, then it just becomes dead ears to me. I only see lips movin.

Sadly, he can not use the nickname 'Clipboard Jesus' as that name is already spoken for.

ESPN is also reporting or at least Adam Schefter that there's some language in Tebow's contract that may prohibit the trade from getting done. That language caused the Jags to stop their pursuit.

Reports are now saying a void within the language of the trading contract could derail Tebow's movement to the Jets. The St.Louis Rams may land Tebow. Stay tuned.

Rip, you have GOT to film that!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!
