I was appalled yesterday when I walked into my kids school and
saw under the secretary's English name plate on her desk was her name in Arabic.
Not French which is our second language but Arabic!

I see myself as a pretty understanding guy. Couldn't give a flying fuck what people think, say or do in the privacy of their own home - but the incessant need for muslims to tear down the values of the enlightenment and replace it with ignorant garbage is unacceptable.

My brother and his wife visit her family regularly there in France.I think they live in Marseille.My brother was over there when all those violent protests were happening here a while back.So what do these muslims do move in somewhere and basically mooch off of the welfare system and throw violent protests when they feel like they are slighted,not respected or given whatever they feel they deserve as citizens? i'm just trying to understand what exactly it is these lunatics are doing to cause so much unrest.

Not trying to say every muslim does that; of course not. Around 6-7 percent of the French population is muslim. In general I'd say however that their mentality and opinions towards civil liberties, women rights and role of government is so radically different from ours, that clashes are bound to happen. Let's be serious here; Islam is not an religion of peace. Far from it. The west can't honestly think this silly notion of multiculturalism could still work - Sarkozy understood that.

When I lived in Venezuela, I learned Spanish because not a single person I lived with spoke English. If everyone in the US absolutely refused to speak anything, but English the problem would solved. That solution is too easy for our dumb ass government. Trust me, when they get hungry, they start learning English real fast! It is disrespectful and arrogant to move abroad and expect them to accommodate you.
