I don't know why anyone would opt for anything else other than simply not being able to afford the iPhone or your carrier not having it (T-Mobile probably doesn't have iPhone... or does it?). I have seen some very cool-looking droids, but there's just too many variables and technical issues there no matter how reliable your specific model is (namely, the buggy Android OS).

I bailed out on AT&T last year and went with Sprint. In my area, I get a much stronger signal with Sprint, and they have much better phones. Don't even bring Iphone into the discussion. I wouldn't have one of those if you paid me to use it. The only reason being is how proprietary Apple is. I can't say I blame them for being that way, because it has served them well. And I will also say that they make great products, but I like the Android's openness much better.
Oh, and AT&T's customer service sucks, badly.

Poor people shouldn't have smartphones. They still do make flip and keyboard phones, you know.

I've always had AT&T and can't afford to leave them. But I have to say, since the last update for my iPhone4S, I have had 4G network and it fixed any signal issues I had had when I was 3G my area.
And Rick, you'd like drawing much more on an iPhone AND you could play family feud!

I'll get a "good" Android one of these days. It just seems that every time I have some money to buy something better, it gets sucked up by something else. I do appreciate your patience with my pos phone and my drawings.![]()
