I've seen her about a dozen times and she has never EVER disappointed!! I would like to see her throw out some overplays and go a little deeper but overall you can't go wrong seeing a Pat show. Did they play anything new? I know Neil mentioned they were working on new stuff. I will be seeing her with Loverboy and Journey in Aug...can't wait!

A song that I love and have only seen her perform once is Wuthering Heights. I think with all of the slower pop songs she has in her setlist, she just doesn't want to add one more. Great song, if she adds it this year, I might go to a show just to hear it again.

I've only heard it played in concert once as well....in fact I saw her twice in a week that tour, she played it one night and not the other. She commented on how hard it was to sing but fans always asked her to perform it.

Love Pat Benetar, Thanks...
Had to go & listen to my fav song from her...
& now that I think back to her concerts of the nuts who stood
around us.& gave us a strange look..while we sang along...now I know why...
All these years the lyrics are...

we belong together..

when I was singing..

birds of a feather...

Have you ever heard the original by Kate Bush? HORRIBLE!! She screeches through the entire thing. I read once where Pat was aprehensive about redoing it to Kate's standard and thought, are you kiddin me?! Pat's version is 1000% better then Kate's...no comparison. Pat makes that song beautiful

I don't mind her being a "dirty dozen" act so much, but yeah she is.

I agree, I wish she would shake it up a bit. I know she's said that she will ALWAYS play Hell Is For Children, but there are some songs in there that can be swapped out for some deeper cuts. On her 20th Anniversary tour she really dug deep and did a long almost two hour set. That was the best. The second time I ever saw her was in a little club in MN and she left out Hit Me With Your Best Shot ....I thought there was going to be anarchy! lol! I hate the song as much as she does, but that's one that unfortunately she knows she has to play.
