If they din't break out there would be no story, same with the other heroes.

It's not like this is Minority Report where people are arrested for future crimes.

I always enjoy the super hero movies for what they are and I'm glad their bought to life on the big screen. Growing up I read comics. I remember walking home from school, stopping at the Time Saver, buying an Iccee for a 25 cents and a comic of my choice for 15. Then I was a huge Shang Chi and Sgt. Rock fan. I always tried to look at characters in a way if they were believable or not. For Instance, Iron Man. That's believable and conceivable. Thor, being a GOD, is some what believable. Superman, Silver Surfer and all the others that come from distant planets, yea, I could try to wrap my brain around it. I like Batman, it just isn't even remotely believable. No human being could possibly pull off what he does and survive. He is after all, only human. I take it for what it is and Bale does a good job as Bruce Wayne.

Trust me, Bale-Batman is significantly closer to reality than the Iron Man suit.

BEST TRAILER YET - shown on the MTV Movie Awards. The studio has been taking a lot of these down, so view it while it's still up.

Wow. TDKR is going to completely SMOKE TDK right out of the water. There's so much happening in that trailer that it's impossible to keep focused on the greatness that will be happening July 20th.

I'm kind of torn about another Judge Dredd. Seeing as how I never read the comics, I thought the movie with Stallone was pretty good.

Judge Dredd creator John Wagner has seen the new film...and he approves!

It's crap. Wagner walked up to Danny Cannon (the director) on the set and told him he was filming the wrong story!

That's about all I care to know of the film before seeing it... shutting down my curiosity for now.

Bane is the only reason I want to see this movie. Batman is one of the most boring comic book film superheroes I've ever seen.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

I think it's quite evident that Batman plays a supporting role in his own movie & he has been in this Nolan-verse. Thing is, he has such a deep and phenomenal rogue's list, that it doesn't shock me whatsoever to see people more fired up to see the villain than the actual Batman. Bale plays a better Bruce Wayne than Batman IMO. On the other hand, it would also help to understand him speak when he don's the cowl, haha

It happened before, in Batman Returns. And it's still better than seeing an actor come off as a ghost of another actor who played the part a squillion times better (Routh/Reeve).

Bale is the best BatWayne so far. Keaton was a better Wayne than Batman. Clooney outright sucked. Joke city. Kilmer was pretty solid as both.

And yes, it's always cool to see who the villain is going to be. That's at least half the draw, isn't it? Hathaway as Catbabe looks tasty. Whatshisname up there says Batman is the most boring superhero he's ever seen, but he obviously forgot about Superman and Captain America, who are probably the most vanillafied straight arrows in comics ever.

I want to see some hot ass babes playing Wonder Woman, Huntress and Zatanna next. And for Marvel bring on Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel, and Enchantress.

Yep, because grim and dark translates to exciting and fascinating.
Give me a fucking break, that troll logic might work with the rest of the emo, goth, and punk demographic, but I'm not part of the Tim Burton Brigade and "chocolate" can be just as trite as vanilla.

Meh.
Doesn't matter who's behind the cowl gargling their lines, Batman is boring. Others may be content to masturbate to the Caped Crusader, with his taciturn disposition and monochromatic color scheme and have I mentioned just how DARK and GRIM and EDGY he is? Or how badass he is for having a black cape and bat ears as opposed to a red cape and matching speedo? And lest we forget the Joker, THE GREATEST VILLAIN OF ALL TIME, whose defining trait is his tenuous hold on reality (probably a Steve Perry fan).

Begins and TDK were good movies but certainly not because of the titular hero. It owed completely to a strong compelling cast (Neeson, Murphy, Ledger, I'm looking at you all).

In case you couldn't tell, neither am I.

But Christopher Nolan is not Tim Burton.

Oh, I forgot about the Sucktastic Four, with Stretchy Man, No-See Girl, Human Matchstick and Stoner. They are easily the most boring characters out there.

And we all know a guy who could stretch body parts at will wouldn't be off saving the world...he'd be in porn.
