With all due respect.. whether you like the song or not, what should be expressed here in my opinion is what a great thing it is that Jim Peterik gave of his time and talent to address an issue BULLYING that has taken the lives of many let alone 3 minutes.

Normal bullying hasn't taken anybody's life. Weak people have taken their own lives. Bullying is a natural, normal part of the human experience. Through it, kids learn to grow, learn to handle adversity, and get a sense of humor about themselves. I was bullied and did some bullying as a kid. It was completely healthy. Demonizing bullying is the flip side of the pussy culture we've created. On the other side of that pussy culture is where there are kids' sports leagues that don't have winners and losers, all-star teams that every kid in the league makes, and no grades in school. It's a societal defect that needs to be fixed, and fast.

Sure. Most people I know would say the same.

Let me be clear: I'm not endorsing things that are beyond the pale, like a kid getting the shit kicked out of him everyday or having his head rubbed in a shit-filled toilet every gym class. But a little ball-busting, getting picked last, and even a little physical bullying is a normal part of growing up and in my view, completely healthy.
