2012 Tour

Postby fightingilliniJRNY » Sat Jul 07, 2012 8:17 am

For hitting secondary markets on the second leg of The Eclipse Tour, there's nothing secondary about this schedule: they have 64 dates scheduled. To compare, the first North American leg of The Revelation Tour was 55 shows.

Anybody have some shows booked?

Louisville, in August.
No VIP tickets (which is probably a good thing, prices were outrageous), alas, but me and my group tagged third row.

Oh, nice! How did you manage that? I pulled front row for this venue in 2009, but it didn't open up until about 10 days before the show. I'll be hitting this show, too. Don't have my ticket yet.

Interesting - the Journey website has 54 shows, by my count (manually) listed ...

However, Pollstar has a count of 64 shows - a differential of 10 shows ...

Can anyone identify the 10 shows that are missing? Maybe they're just posted because the onsale dates haven't been finalized or announced yet?

Either way, its starting to feel like a very solid tour year for 5 months ....

Hope the 9 month break (Not counting Nashville in Feb.) will have done them good and allowed them to rest, and Arnel's injury to heal ...

Best,

Michael

Well, I'll be meeting up with friends from across the pond to hit the SB and Tahoe shows! It's going to be a great time with old-time Journey fans. :) Vegas in December looks like it should be a party!

I'm going to the Gorge amphitheater on July 28th. It's a great venue!
If they don't sound good there, they don't sound good anywhere.

That was a great show and the closest I've been to the stage (I wanna say I was in the 5th or 6th row). Shoot me a PM when you purchase the ticket so we can see about meeting up there.

They are the shows just before the Hawaii show. Like Vegas. Journey site has not listed them yet. I know for sure that the Vegas date is confirmed.
