To Leave A Number Or Not To Leave A Number

Ok so you guys are probably wondering what the hell i'm talking about. So I was out to luch today
with my mom (yeah yeah I know). Anyway the server we had today had to have been a perfect ten. She stood
about 5'4-5'6 shoulder length black hair and the prettiest brown eyes you have ever seen. I left her a nice tip
and a note saying how I appreciated her hospitality and now i'm kicking myself for not leaving my number
as well? So what do you guys think should I have left my number or am I biting off more then I can chew?

I wouldn't do that, doing so may send the wrong message or some red flags that something could be wrong with you, not saying it is, but you don't know who's going to answer the phone and take the call. I would suggest going in again and if she's there, sit in her area and when you talk to her about your order, service, etc, ask her what her name is and go from there.

this reminds me of the brazilian pizza delivery chick I met in Santa Barbara a decade and a half ago....what an ass she had....I actually did the same thing Gin recommended, and went right back to the restaurant and had to say hello again, got her number... didn't pan out ultimately, but was worth the shot

Hmmm....kind of a related story, I was with my band at a restaurant in FL and the waitress was pretty attractive. I was paying my bill and left the credit card receipt on the table and went out to get the van or smoke a cigarette or something. When the band came out we were about to leave when I realized I left my credit card. I came back and the waitress was acting a little weirded out, and I took the little folio that had my receipt and credit card and saw on the reciept where some winner in my band decided to write at the top of the reciept "You are so hot I want to shit all over your face!" Some may think that's funny but it seemed like a pretty "shitty" thing to do (see what I did?).

Anyway, I can't see how that would help you in your situation but there ya go.

I can't imagine any woman going for this ploy unless you were a veritable Brad Pitt in the looks department or transparently filthy rich (e.g., she sees you get in your Aston Martin to roll out). Hitting on a woman at work generally goes nowhere. I've never seen it work, even when my friends who have pretty good "game" have tried it.

But yeah, if you do try it, do it directly. Don't do some pussy ass write your phone number on the receipt and run out with your tail between your legs maneuver. Gotta go big if you're gonna go to a predictable cliche.

Keep going back but don't be that creepy wierdo and ask about/for her, if she recognizes you as a regular then you'll stand a better chance of getting her number.
