And having a 4'2" Filipino singing lead for an american band is fucked up!

What's his ethnicity have to do with anything? He delivers. Having an Italian singing lead on some songs or a portuguese guy as a former lead singer for an american band must be fucked up too. Don't be ridiculous.

Usually stay out of these things, but this is one time I have to agree with Steveo, WTF difference does his ethnicity or where he is from have to do with it. If some have issues with his pronouncation of the songs that's one thing, but would anybody even be saying anything if it was a dude from say Australia and his accent? JSS was a Puerto Rican leading Journey, Perry was Portuguese. Arnel's vocal delivery doesn't grab my soul like the two previous Journey singers I just mentioned, but it has zero to do with his ethnicity.

I don't ever agree w/steveo and did not agree w/NS here (although I like him) but again JSS is an American of PR descent
and Perry is an American man of Portugese decent. In America our descendants are from
everywhere but here ...unless you are an American Indian. If any of these men were to
compete in the RNR Olympics they would legally be on the American team. What does this matter
in terms of fronting Journey? Notta ...but in light of the recent Olymic games I guess I'm still
feeling a little patriotic.

Umm, he looks out of place would be a great starting point here. No stage persona so to speak. It's all personal preference to me. You can decide for yourself cause I sure the hell don't want to get into a pissing match with steveo. :) Ok. Now to fire up that pocket rocket and get my game face one hehe.
