You weren't that worried about our troops being occupied when Bush started two huge wars , yet you're slamming Obama for not ending the war fast enough for ya ?! Is there anuthing that Democrats have done that you remotely agree with ?!
Obama didn't really end the war in Iraq. As much as I think Bush was a complete failure of a President, it was his policies that led to the end of the war. If Bush's troop surge hadn't happened (something Obama was against), Obama wouldn't have been able to "end" the war to begin with.
Behshad, you weren't even around when those two wars started, so you have no idea whether or not I was worried about it. The war in Iraq was a mistake. We should've never been there to begin with. Afghanistan's a different story. They aided and abetted the group that plotted against and struck our country. If we hadn't pussyfooted around there, we could've wiped them out and finished off the war in just a few years rather than this 11-year debacle we're in now. That part's also Bush's fault but Obama certainly hasn't improved upon it at all.
I wasn't around ?!

I'm not that young

Dude, you're smarter than this. You weren't around ME when those wars were going on. I wasn't on this forum until 2005.
As always , if Obama did anything good during his term like ending a war that Bush started , let's credit Bush for it.
However if he didn't end another war that Bush started , then it's Obama's fault. Sounds about right

Look, it doesn't take a genius to figure this out but since I know you're not a genius, I'll humor you and explain it...If Obama had his way, the troop surge in Iraq would never have happened and the violence going on at the time likely would've continued. Bush pushed for it anyway and recent history shows he was wrong. End of story. Bush gets more of the credit for it, in my opinion.
We would've finished the Afghanistan war much faster of Bush had focused on Afghanistan ONLY and never bothered with starting a war in Iraq.
I already basically said this, so there's nothing new here.
