Nice cover ... of one of the dullest songs ever.

I knew that'd piss off somebody... and of course... a woman stands up for it. :)

That song is just like Perry's "Lifetime Channel". Made for women. Which is fine, I just think it's way dull.
Great singing of course just not the most exciting tune from him to me. There are some great tunes on that album though.

Yep, and not just any woman, but a scary one. :D

Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

Gotta agree with Bry on this. Gotta be my least favorite Perry tune...

I did'nt post this because I think it's a great tune. I posted it because I think David Castagna, Rick Rici and Cris Serena did a nice job of covering it.

I hear what you're saying. On a given day I'd loathe the song similarly. It's the epitome of "easy listening," to be sure. But every once in a while when I'm in the mood for a song like this (like on a cold winter night like tonight), I don't mind it.

BTW man, where you been? I lurk more than post here these days for the most part, but I haven't seen you around in forever.

Of course, the song is easy listening...not everyone's cup of tea. But it was a hit, still gets play on the radio and over the retail speakers. SP did a great job on the vocals:
