What a douche.

C'mon, everybody knows that when your penis pics go international, your mugshot is always the largest. Plus he found the Perryaoke singers on YouTube. It's his baby. He is the Mick Jones of the band.

The bottom line is that when this band revolves around a single member (pun intended), it sucks. It sucked with Perry and it sucked with Neal.

You have to treat this band like my avatar presents them... a standing joke. Otherwise things get too serious.

As a former communications and graphics Manager, I will offer this... that totally looks like an ad made in-house by ONe of the venues (i.e. casino, club etc...) and not something from the band. Often people that make these only have to get them approved by their immediate boss and that person wouldn't know a lead singer or guitartist from a band roadie! I know firsthand! LOL I seriously doubt that Neal had anything to do with this ad... I just don't see this being created by the band. Again, looks like an in-house photoshoped banner for a plasma media screen system. We had one at the Resort I used to work for. FWIW...it's a pretty crappy second rate image. ;-P

Bottom line... should probably cut Neal some slack on this one, highly unlikely that he had anything to do with this...

Well yeah, I doubt Neal makes a point of going through and personally approving the graphics and advertisements (could be wrong, though).
But it's testament to how much of an egomaniacal prick he is that these guys would consciously make the decision to make him disproportionate to the rest of the band.

If it actually was sold out - it's likely because Journey has not played Calgary since the early 80's. I'm betting a lot of ticket holders were expecting SP :)

Yeah, I figured it had been quite a while since Journey has played Canada, other than Toronto.

Exactly. The band doesn't sign off on these ads. They've got better things to do.

It doesn't seem they were at all disappointed either. No IF about it, they had 19,000 butts in seats. Not a bad turnout at all. Even if it was "fuzzy math" and there were only 18,000, it's still a great turnout for this band. :D

Interesting, though, Neal is out front...Arnel is 2nd...and the other 3 are just behind. So, it would seem someone knows the structure ....not just printing this up off the cuff.
