Anybody see The Who on the current Quadrophenia Tour? I have tickets for Nashville on Sunday. Pretty excited. I know they have an opener - ticket shows a 7:30 start time - any idea when The Who has been taking the stage? I'm not one to ask about on-stage times, but I have a work commitment and will need to be blazing a trail down I-65 Sunday evening.

Just be ready for vocal issues. They may or may not occur. My dad saw Roger Daltrey a few years ago at the Cleveland House of Blues. He said he was great for an hour, and then he literally lost his voice. Couldn't even talk. He kept trying to sing and just sounded like he was spitting marbles. So finally after coughing his way through half a verse, he goes "FUCK IT! I just can't do it!" and stopped the show.

Be sure to check back in and let us know. Again, for what it's worth, my dad and two other people I knew at the show concurred: he was GREAT before his voice blew out. So as long as he can keep it up, it should be good.

Roger had vocal surgery just before the Superbowl appearance. At the SB appearance, he wasn't quite healed up yet, but they'd already committed to the gig. I heard that he's in great form on this tour.

Watched a bootleg of the current tour last weekend. Good show, no noticeable vocal issues.
