Outstanding Holiday Party Treat: Alcoholic Candy Apples!

Made these last year for a Holiday party and they were SOOOOOOO good! The video gives you the basic steps but be sure to substitute your favorite liquor for the basic vodka or gin version. I made two batches: One with Capt. Morgan's and one with Smirnoff Green Apple Twist Vodka and Granny Smith apples. The Smirnoff batch was hands-down the best alcohol-infused anything I've ever had! Yeah, they were THAT good! Don't let the tameness of a "candy apple" novelty drink fool ya! These things will knock you on your butt!!

Going to make a batch this year with Bacardi Big Apple Rum and Golden Delicious apples. Should be pretty tasty!

Apples really soak up booze through the skin? Think I'd stick a couple holes in the apple unless the apples would turn brown.

Why is it that people need alcohol in order to "enjoy" something? Personally, I don't enjoy something that tastes like it runs yard equipment. I guess whatever floats your boat right?. I just don't get why alcohol is needed.
