After watching the first 10 seconds of this http://youtu.be/ZpIN1Boey68 , I'm left wondering can these guys do this anymore? I'm fine using the added vox in the PA for a broader sound projection during live performances.

Say what you will about them starting to perform at warped speed toward the end of the Frontiers tour throughout ROR (supposedly to relief the stress on SP's vocals), I've always loved seeing/listening to their live version of that song, KOR. Made for a rocking contrast to the ballads.

All I was getting at was their acapella sound check before footage for the song kicked in -- are they still capable of doing that at all? Sorry I wasn't clearer in what I was asking.

Don't mind if I do: it sounded like shit. I'd almost take Augeri's inconsistent warbles if it meant that the quality musicianship endured, rather than listen to Captain Mullet embarrassingly rap the songs instead of singing them.

Jon's songs are beautiful and timely and I think the only emasculation going on is the guys to wimpy to admit a good love ballad can give a man a great love life if he isn't too much of a coward to admit it. I don't want to hear Back Talk when I make love guys, most girls don't. The songs were beautifully written and he is a genius at a piano. It takes a great gutsy band to do both well.

You know, Cain looked pretty jacked back in '98 when the Vegas concert was filmed, but honestly in person, he has more of a runner's frame. And although he's the tallest in the group, he's still by no means a giant...It's just that compared to most of the 5'4" members of that band he looks like a fucking Sequoia.

Honestly, Neal's a little spark plug...He's not a huge guy but with his low center of gravity and frame, it's between him and Deen that I'd least want to fuck with.

With Cain's personality and overall approach to things, I don't imagine he's been in many situations where he had to know how to handle himself in a fight. Who knows. Who cares...LOL.

AP is all power no finesse or dynamics...

the tempo of the song is missing the swing of the original.

I guess at best its "passable"... if one had never heard the original.
