I just realized you can see Supes' chest hair peeking above the collar of his costume (look at the scene where he's gazing at Lois before taking her hand). I guess they are doing this on purpose, but I'm not sure why.

LOL, yeah. Some fans pointed this out and are like "dude, chest hair. The fuck?" I think its great. Just shows Clark's human side. He's also shown earlier in the trailer, on fire and has chest hair. Good to see something masculine from the Supes character in Cavill rather than that Barbie Doll in Brandon Routh. That's just badass to me, chest hair and all, lmao.

I'm totally cool with the facial/chest hair in the earlier scenes, and I believe I've seen Superman with chest hair (and beard) in the comics as well, usually when he's on some foreign planet under a red sun, lol. But when he's wearing the suit, everybody knows he lasers his chest... probably with his own heat vision.

You seriously cant see that big glob of chest hair sticking out of his suite? It's as noticeable as it gets lol. Like RIP said though , a scene using his heat vision on his chest would enter Chuck Norris level haha. And no matter how bad SR missed the mark, or how terrible Nuclear Man was, the Bat family will forever own the Bat nips. You brought it up V, noone else did lol.

Chuck Norris doesn't have chest hair. That's razor wire, dude.

The Schumacher films are considered bottom-of-the-barrel when it comes to the Bat canon. That's okay, Nolan's films erased that shit. And Singer and Schu...both are gay directors.

Did you see Routh's cameo in Zack & Miri?

You know you have a mancrush on HC.

Okay, THAT....was awesome!

Sorry dude, you can't erase anything. The Shumacher films exist & the Bat name will forever be associated with it 8) It's okay, though. I will FOREVER have a special place in my heart for the GOD AWFUL impersonation and insult to "Superman: The Movie" titled "Superman Returns" (Seriously? Superman Returns? Way to be original! Did Singer EVER hear of a movie, say, "Batman Returns"? I hated the movie right from the title and it gradually plummeted after that.)

Just the other week, I went back to SR & watched with an open mind. I don't know how the flick managed to do it, but the mother fucker melted in its shittyness all over again and even got WORSE with time.

Back to my original point before I get of topic, I will forever hold a special place in my heart for SR for sucking so bad that it paved the way for Man of Steel. Without SR's failure, I would have never been able to set eyes on the Superman movie I've always wanted & to my personal preference, I'm getting that with Man of Steel. In fact, the 2:30 trailer MOS put out has already eclipsed Superman Returns in its entirety!

Did you see Routh's cameo in Zack & Miri?

Negative. What did he do? Lift heavy things again? Was it OSCAR worthy?

You know you have a mancrush on HC.

NO HOMO, but your Goddamn right I do and my fiance' knows it! I love everything about the dude's look. If I had to explain YEARS ago the Superman that resides in my mind and try to explain the portrayal of my casting of the character on film, it's Cavill 110%. I'm stoked for this. I don't think you understand how LONG the Supes fanbase have been waiting for this. Chalk me down as one counting down every single micro-second of awesomeness until June 14th  Got to say, I'm having a blast looking forward to it. A downright BLAST.

They exist as fodder for jokes and sources of lament for the good actors who were wasted in them. And the other actors, too. :)

That shot of Supes being hurled into the vault is better than that entire movie.

He plays Miri's former high school crush and boyfriend of a gay porn actor played by Justin Long.

Same here. Front row for concerts, back row in a theater (as long as the screen is huge and the seating is raised).

I have never seen people making out in a theater. Being rude with their cell phones, sure.

They must not do that in Arkansas, to that state's credit. Wait.... Ginger is from Arkansas. I've seen it. I saw a girl jerkin a guys gerkin in a movie theater. I wanted to either leave or get in line. Wasn't sure what to do.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Ok so i know this is "old news" but i just saw this again tonight. First time seeing
it since the theater. Still an awesome movie. It's probably 20 minutes too long but
still awesome either way. I still hate the whole robin thing though at the end

Nah, it was great. Clever that it was his proper first name. Nolan got away with that one. Talk about a way to have "Robin" be in the movie without actually being Robin. Abrams would have hit you over the head with it within the first ten minutes:

GORDON: Officer Blake? Is John your MIDDLE NAME according to this form?

BLAKE: Yes, Commissioner, my REAL FIRST NAME IS [TRUMPETS] ROBIN!
