Howard Stern often talks about how his parents refuse to use a DVR and insist on using a VHS VCR instead.

The thing is, if you invest money in a new technology, like DVD's, which seems to have passed you by a long time ago. Then you'll have to do it again when the next big thing rolls out. Which is becoming more recurrent all the time. If you like what you have, then stick with it. If you ever want to rent a movie though... I don't know what to tell ya. :D
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I have a shitload of VHS tapes of games when the Bulls had Jordan/Pippen/Rodman. I have a VHS/DVD combo player that I could write the VHS's to DVD's but I just need to find the time to do it.

I've got tons of VHS's, and no VCR. Have to correct that soon, and get the DVDR/VCR combo. I've got a couple of VERY rare Styx bootlegs that I need to transfer, as well as a few games. While I'm at it, I might as well do all the Disney movies, so I don't have to rebuy them every 7 years.
