With that said... PLEASE send up prayers for my niece Gabby. She needs them right now.

G.I.Jim wrote:Your prayers are definitely working! They just removed the device from Gabby's skull that monitors the pressure, and her swelling is going down. They're feeding her thru a tube right now, and she is definitely improving. Her fever is going down as well. She isn't out of the woods yet though, so please continue to pray for her and her family. Thank you very much.
G.I.Jim wrote:Thanks for the prayers everyone!! SHe is doing much better now, and may be moved into a regular room tomorrow out of ICU. Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've been out of town and in 3 states over the last several days. I believe the critical stage is over, and now she's going to be in rehabilitation for a while. She seems to have all of her memory, motor functions, and personality. She can't sit up though, and they say that's common for someone who's weak like she is and being in bed for several days. I was told that they had removed her feeding tube a couple of days ago, but that was incorrect. They are going to try taking it out tomorrow though, so that's awesome news!
Again, I really appreciate your prayers and thoughts for her. She is a very sweet little girl and is much loved. You all rock!!!
