I'm a pacifist buy I don't see any solution outside of destroying their military from afar. That's not going to happen unless NK is stupid enough to attack SK or us. My concern is will China sit by and let us demolish NK without getting involved on the NK side. That's a very serious question.

N. Korea is China's junk yard dog. Behind the scenes N. Korea doesn't do anything without the nod from China. That way China can fuck with the U.S. or the rest of the world without it looking like it's them. If the U.S. was to take major military action upon N. Korea, I'm not so sure China would just sit on their hands.

I'm in favor of peaceful negotiations aimed toward ending NK's, as well as Iran's nuclear programs. When that becomes impossible, something else must be done. Countries with Nuclear Weapons Capability
Acknowledged: U.K., China, France, India, Pakistan, Russia, United States, Israel, North Korea
Seeking: Syria, Iran2
Abandoned: South Africa constructed but then voluntarily dismantled six uranium bombs. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine; when Soviet Union broke up, these former states possessed nuclear warheads that they have since given up and declared themselves non-nuclear weapon states.

Seriously dude.. just how "mad" is NK's leadership? There is very little (if any) empirical data to support your opinion... other than the non-specific rhetoric spewed by the government fed, lames-stream media. And 30 plus years of back and forth with NK with little to nothing happening is pretty compelling evidence that nothing well will happen.
I'm not saying NK leadership is saintly by any means.. but for Pete's sake, use your head.. there's 25 Million people in North Korea... The US has already had a hand in toppling:
Iran: Population: 74,798,599
Iraq: Population: 32,961,959
Libya: Population: 6,422,772
You'd think by now if NK was really any kinda "threat"... the U.S. would have already, covertly undermined and toppled the NK government...Countries with Nuclear Weapons Capability

India and Pakistan HATE each other with a passion that makes the NK vs SK relationship look silly... and India nd Pakistan both are armed to the teeth.

Pakistan is not a country. It's India, but Pakistan by the act of secession. Not much loss to the world if they decided to take each other out. S. Korea is our friend and productive citizens. N. Korea is a communist country and breeds like thinking. For you to think NK is not a threat to the US is just blindness on your part. Dude this!
