North Korea steps up their threat on the U.S.. My question is, when is B.O. going to say something publicaly about this situation or is he going to just let his underlings keep talking about it?

This was posted on http://www.LATimes.com/. Has anyone else heard of this? Do I need to buy a 1-way ticket to Australia or Argentina?

Steven_R at 8:44 PM April 03, 2013

An interesting timeline:

10/9/2006: 1st North Korea nuclear test - 0.48 kilotons

5/25/2009: 2nd North Korean nuclear test - 2.35 kilotons

11/2011: 1st secret U.S.-North Korea negotiation meeting

4/7/2012: 2nd secret U.S.-North Korea negotiation meeting

8/18-20/2012: 3rd secret U.S.-North Korea negotiation meeting; "heavy equipment" delivered

12/2012: 4th secret U.S.-North Korea negotiation meeting

2/2013: Japan inquires about secret U.S.-North Korea meetings; U.S. threatens Japan against further inquiries.

2/12/2013: 3rd North Korea nuclear test - Reported to be between 10 and 40 kilotons!!!!!!!

I have four questions related to this timeline:

1. What did the U.S. deliver to North Korea in August 2012? There are sancitions against North Korea; did the U.S. deliver sancitioned goods or technology? If so, the UN should inquire immediately.

2. What accounts for North Korea's exponential growth in nuclear technology between 2009 and 2012? Who is helping them, how are they helping them, and what technologies have been provided to them?

3. Why is the U.S. meeting with North Korea secretly? The approprate authories in the U.S., Japan, and South Korea have been kept in the dark about the purpose of these meetings. Why?

4. Why hasn't anyone in the media put this timeline together? It took me 15 minutes.

No way China is going to let this shit go down without being involved. The first military move should be to invade China and get all our gold back that was stolen from Ft. Knox!

Intercepted communications in recent days indicate that North Korea could be planning to launch a mobile ballistic missile in the coming days or weeks, a U.S. official tells CNN.

Some have commented that they feel N. Korea is going to do something. Since they have taken it this far they will to "save face". Something that is in their culture. What do you folks think?

Yeah that would be captivating alright. But I'd rather focus on North Korea's military and government only. I think most of the North Koreans want to get out of this thing alive but are stuck between a rock and a hard place with the North Korean leadership and military. Once "little pee pee" and the military that is the penis he was never born with is taken out, I think the civilians will welcome a fresh new start. I may be wrong but this is what I think so far. They aren't the civilians who hijack jets and kill Americans, etc. I have faith (until proven otherwise) that the North Korean civilians want to progress along with the rest of the world, but the current North Korean leadership and military is preventing that from happening. It will be quite interesting in the next few days, weeks, months....

If they do, a small pissing ground like North Korea, someone must have said they got their back. China? Personally I think China's behind this more then one might think. North Korea is just a pawn for China. China wouldn't think twice screwing over North Korea to gain American military technology. That's what Vietname in large was all about. History repeats itself.

I would agree that North Korea wouldn't do something like this without consulting with China in secret. China has moved military assets near their border with N. Korea. The question is whether this is a defensive move towards N. Korea or a move to assist N. Korea. What still amazes me is B.O.'s silence on the matter. He's running around spouting off about the need to more gun control, same sex marriage etc and has said just about nothing on how this situation appears to be escalating. His underlings are saying that this situation is moving in a more troubling, serious direction yet B.O. appears to feel those other topics are more important. I am getting the feeling this is going to become much more serious very soon. The question is will B.O. respond correctly or fuck it up like most of what he has done so far.

I'm pretty sure China did the exact same thing back during the Vietnam war, moving military assets closer towards the "action". I've got a pretty good idea about why China is doing it though. What better way to test their new radar and communications equipment against America's newest "stealth" equipment and technology. Plus perhaps China has a few pieces of newer technology up their sleave of their own that they want to see if America can detect while "we're" over there operating in that region.

In regards to BO, he's a clown so I don't care to even wonder what the fuck he's up to anymore. Fund raising, maping the human brain cause he doesn't understand it's functioning aspects, it's all the same with that guy.

The saddest part of this whole situation is the numbers of innocent lives that will inevitably be lost needlessly all because of a clueless, spoiled little boy who is running the country the way he saw his daddy do it. He can't fathom how things really are in the world outside of N.K. He just knows he's in complete control now and there's nobody that can tell him "no" so he's going to play with all the toys he has at his disposal. His perception of his country is so skewed and so wrong with regard to its military strength and superiority.

Countries run by dictators should be outlawed by all other nations of the world and any attempts to overthrow established Democratic govts. should be met with swift and complete consequences. One of the videos shown on CNN and other news shows the past couple of days shows N.K.'s leader talking to military personnel assembled somewhere and as he talks to each one individually they are weeping and so excited that the Supreme Leader is gracing them with his presence and is personally them. Meantime in the background you see the rest of the assembled military personnel jumping up and down and cheering ecstatically that their God is right there in front of them. His power is so great over these people that this is what it has come to. If they don't put on that kind of display it will probably be reported to the ruling party and those who weren't showing their joy and excitement would be seen as hostile or anti-government individuals and sent to labor camps or worse. Saddam Hussein used to do the same thing.

Look at these brainwashed idiots and how they react to just being in his presence in this video. There are several instances but the best example is the moron military personnel running into the ocean waving their arms and crying as the little boy's boat is leaving. It's at 1:34.

More evidence of just how fucked up and narcissistic these dictators are. If this wasn't real which makes it so incredibly pathetic, it might be funny. God, I seriously hope this fucker is taken out very quickly if there is indeed military action.

North Korea's real reason for starting World War III: to save its 35,000 sacred statues

By Tim Stanley World Last updated: March 27th, 2013

North Korea has threatened to send missiles to Guam, Hawaii and the US mainland – presumably by air mail. The country is broke, its weaponry is archaic and its computer technology little more than an old space invaders game nicked from a London pub in the 1980s. And yet it has ramped up its war on the rest of the world. Why?

One novel explanation comes from a website run by North Koreans living in exile. It says that Pyongyang’s declaration of “Grade 1 War Readiness” has a specific and surprising translation: it means that the country is preparing itself not to defend its citizens or even the motherland but rather the “dignity” of the ruling Kim clan – including all the artwork that depicts them. The phrase “Grade 1” refers specifically to the Kims and, from that proposition onwards, things get really weird:

North Korea has declared a Protection Order regarding the portraits of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, as well as related images and artefacts. An emergency meeting was convened among North Korean officials stationed abroad in relation to the recent declaration of ‘Grade 1′ War-Readiness by the Supreme Command of the KPA, according to our sources. Contrary to expectations, the meetings were not concerned with the state of war-readiness within North Korea.

From today, night security will be organized in order to protect the portraits of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il kept in the offices of North Korean officials stationed abroad from attack. In addition, Pyongyang has ordered for any items containing the likeness or words of Kim Il-sung or Kim Jong-il to be given special protection. The source added that within North Korea too, a state of emergency regarding the protection of monuments and artefacts related to the dignity of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il has been issued.

This explanation of North Korea’s increased war preparations – that it wants to protect all the sculptures, paintings and tea coasters bearing Kim’s image – might seem far-fetched, but it’s actually based in a serious reality with potential consequences for the rest of the world. Knowing that North Koreans are expected to revere statues of the Kim family, South Korea has responded to recent attacks from the communist state by threatening to blow those artworks up. From the Chosun Ibo newspaper:

The statues are considered sacred in the North, and any damage to them could deliver a huge psychological impact. "If North Korea launches another provocation, our military has developed a plan to respond with air-to-surface and surface-to-surface missiles to strike not only the source of provocation as well as support and command forces, but also some statues of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il," a government source here said Sunday.

The North Korean dissident website concludes that this is the real context for the threat to strike the US mainland with missiles: it’s terrified that Seoul is about to demolish some of its 35,000 statues of the Kims.

As I’ve argued many times before, we don’t need to worry too much that North Korea is going to trigger World War III. It cannot deliver on its threat to wipe out California and its military posturing is about a) reminding the rest of the world that it exists and b) asserting political integrity at home. But how remarkable to imagine – if this is indeed true, and there's always reason to be sceptical about anything involving North Korea – that the latest geopolitical crisis is informed by the threat posed to some tacky communist artwork. Of course, regardless of the theory's veracity, it’s also absurd that a Marxist state should regard statues as icons worthy of starting a war to save. Communism is supposed to be a materialist doctrine that has no space for religious worship, and yet it is so often communist regimes that embalm their leaders or cover the landscape with shrines to tin-pot heroes. As ideologies go, it wins top marks for enthusiasm but a big fat zero for irony.

Well it would be like any other conflict. Back during Nam you couldn't tell who was the enemy when you got women running up to heli's and tossing in bombs. Same thing during current conflict in the middle east. Sitting on the sidelines as we are doing, it's easy to say "take out only the bad guys". But when your down in the field doing the job, as those of us with first hand experience have, that is impossible to do, easier said then done. I'd say we go in and take out just the bad guys, the first incident where a civilian gets involved such as what I mentioned happening in Nam, I say shift gears, pull chocks, send in the big guns and carpet bomb that fucking place.

This issue with North Korea is really heating up a lot more than I anticipated it would. This is definitely a no win situation for that country. So they fire a nuke or two. Then what? They will be taken out so fucking fast. Sometimes this is what it takes.

In regards to anything BO has to say about it, very interesting that the only thing I'm hearing out of the WH in regards to this issue is that "it" won't be a surprise if North Korea does end up firing a or some missiles. But then again, what would the WH and BO say if they knew for a fact this was going to happen? They sure as shit wouldn't say anything that could send the public into a panic.

This could be why BO was over here fundraising yesterday, get California's money before it takes a hit with a nuke from North Korea.

Those 50,000 are probably the only ones that aren't in the North Korean military. Most would think that since his wife is prego, he'd have better things on his mind than war. I hope Dennis Rodman is "visiting" him when the bombs start to drop.

Better yet, strap his ass to one of the bombs and send him on his way! Speaking of bombs, looks like the B.O. administrations idea to not perform tests on our weapons has had no effect on the nut jobs plans. That and all the while N. Korea advances their plans, our leader (if you can call him that) is busy parting down in the White House like everything just peachy.

Re: North Korea talking shit again

Regardless of how many people North Korea takes out, their future will be very bleak if they do push the button. I'd say since North Korea's leadership is so fucked up, they'd fire on South Korea and Japan first, but maybe even try to do something to Guam because of the U.S. base there. Regardless, there is no win situation for North Korea if they attempt to send up a nuke. Though I doubt we'd nuke them back, if we did, it would be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima all over again but in North Korea. Those North Koreans who are lucky enough to survive will bow down and kiss everyone's ass after that.

From what I've been reading today, North Korea is setting a full on launch of a very large missile target launch for April 15 which will be sent over Japan. I'd say it's a great time for us to test out this:

After the missile(s) are taken out, fly over his compound and melt him and his house down with this laser.

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
