Help! I'm Another Victim of Sequestration

Just lost my job today! Due to sequestration, the long term health care company I work for lost Medicare reimbursement and had to make drastic cuts in management and consulting staff. This is just the beginning, we haven't yet seen the effects of OBAMA care funneling billions out of the Medicare system to help pay for the new health insurance system that is supposed to make all our lives better. NOT! Be forewarned, this is just the beginning. It's going to get ugly.

Anybody need a long-term care Medicare/Medicaid/MDS Consultant?

Sorry that happened. I lost my job back in January so I know how you feel. I have a job interview next week for what was originally a full-time administrative assistant position, now a temp/contract position. That job was supposedly already filled, but they are hiring temporary administrative people. Funny how that happens. Supposedly there is a chance that I will come on full time provided I and the economy do okay. The job is Sunday -Thursday so bye bye church. A job is a job I guess.

Thanks, I can use all the help can get. This is the 4th time in 38 yrs I've been downsized. You never get used to it.
I know there are quite a few people on the forum in the same boat. I'm just trying to make it to retirement in 5.5 yrs.
