Glee brought back the the other original cast members last week for a little DSB flashback. This person must have watched it.

Glee did it in what 2007-08 or around there?

I guess we all found that "time-machine" ... cause I swear I heard that DSB song
way back around 1981. :shock:

. in stores, gas stations, on radios, & even get this..
a bigger shock...At the Journey concerts... :lol:

Must go now & look for that time-machine again & send some Glee fans back
in time... :lol:

Glee did it in Sept 2009, hence the song taking off and in 2010 climbing the iTune charts in over 2O countries that year.

At least the cast members have some idea of who Journey is as Perry actually went to the studio and met them during rehearsals.
SP actually did quite a few interviews that year as Journey didn't tour and sort of disappeared until a few months before Eclipse was released.

People don't want to believe it but Glee made Journey a "world band" more than anything else. A decades old album Journey's Greatest hits went to #12 on the UK album charts. DSB jumped into the TOP 100 in two dozen countries. That didn't happen after Sopranos or Arnel's hiring. It all happened within six months of Glee's debut during a year where Journey wasn't even touring.
We can hate it but Journey and Sony made millions from it.

All money, made honestly, is good money in my book. The way there is not so important as the result in this case. Nicely planted seeds to harvest from, perhaps a perfect storm.
